How do you switch off?
Lately, Iā€™ve been struggling with sleep and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Running multiple businesses and managing so many projects can sometimes get the best of me. Yesterday, my business coach gave me some advice that really stuck: "Slow down to speed up." So my question is - how do you do that? Do you have any techniques or inspiration to share? šŸ‘‡

Exercise and sleep! Getting that hour of stress relief followed by a long rest always makes me feel reset.
šŸ™‹ā€ā™‚ļø Productivity System For Weird People
I have a weird productivity system Iā€™ll share with you. It might be helpful if youā€™re a ā€œcreative typeā€ like me. Instead of a ā€œto do listā€, Iā€™ll just look at all the stuff I have to do and then choose the three most important ones. Then I make that the mission for the day. Just make sure to do those three big things. If I get them done by noon or something, great - I can move on to something else. But NOTHING else until those three big things are knocked out. This helps me because: 1. It forces me to prioritize and execute. 2. I have super duper ADHD ā€¦maybe even a couple of random letters in there too ā€¦like ADZHDO or something ā€¦and this helps me stay focused. As simple as this is, it is: A: 100x harder than it sounds B: Really effective There you go. A weirdo with brain damageā€™s guide to time management. (Yes I really do have brain damage and of course itā€™s not from all the years of Keith Richards level partying. I canā€™t believe you would even think such a ā€¦OK fine thatā€™s what caused it.)

This actually sounds solid! Makes the workload seem much more bearable. Have you found any tricks that help when you get stuck on one of the big three?
Start with a free Community
Hello everyone, I want to illustrate the importance of a free community with this game plan. Many who are new to Skool wonder whether they should start directly with a paid community to quickly make money, or if a free community would be better at the beginning. If you are aiming for long-term success, I definitely recommend starting with a free community. Once you reach about 100 members there, you can slowly build a paid community. The free community usually generates the most inquiries and commitments for the paid community. If you start directly with a paid community, you miss the chance to gain members through the free community. Additionally, through the discovery search in Skool, you automatically and constantly receive new members for your free community (for free), who can later transition into the paid community. Please let me know if this all makes sense to you. This is my Gameplan and the free community has the biggest impact. If you have questions, write me an DM or a comment lg Calvin

šŸ”Ž 10 Rules To Choosing A Community Topic
This is gonna be a long one... but if you are lost when it comes to starting your own community here on Skool.. I promise this will help and be worth the read šŸ™ ā€œThe wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.ā€ - Myles Munroe If youā€™re not growing youā€™re dying, and your dreams within you. We have an unknown time here in life, so we must focus on growing every single day. When you feel overwhelmed, it is a sign of growth, doing something new, and taking action on the things that challenge you. Overwhelm keeps more people trapped in their comfort zones than anything else, but we have to learn to embrace it. Comfort Zones = Graveyard of all dreams. The good news is that we can relieve the pressure of the overwhelm by just focusing on the first step. 1ļøāƒ£ Rule #1 - Take The Pressure Off Letā€™s zoom out from planet earth a bit and look at the tiny spec we are in an infinite void of dust. It helps relieve the pressure of our tiny universe going on in front of our eyes. In the grand scheme of things, what we do is not so serious but we make it out to be that way. We tend to put so much pressure on every decision we make that we end up delaying taking the actions we know we must. So letā€™s state the facts. No one starts with an audience or knowing what they can possibly start selling from the get go. We must discover it by bringing people together first. It will be much more enjoyable if you actually like hanging out with these people and get excited to wake up and see what everyone is up to. ā€œA big part of the pressure comes from this idea that you have to get it right the first time. In reality, it never works that way. Your original idea is almost guaranteed to be different than the thing you do a year or two from now. Start now and the next thing will show up when you are ready. So get your wrong idea out as fast as you can. And simply make it less wrong over time. Until eventually itā€™s so little wrong that itā€™s actually right.ā€ - Alex Hormozi

The pressure to have it all figured out right away is real, but the reminder that itā€™s about starting and evolving over time hit home. Thank you @Doug Boughton , this is what I needed to hear today! šŸ™Œ
Are you more of a Maker? Or more of a Manager?
Hey yā€™all! Just listened to @Alex Hormozi ā€™s ā€œThe Game,ā€ podcast episode #734 and it really got me thinking about the ā€œmaker vs. managerā€ concept in our world. I would say my week is spent 80% maker days and 20% manager days. As someone whoā€™s getting my feet wet in the online space, but with experience in brick-and-mortar, the struggle between creative focus (ā€œmakerā€) and operational tasks (ā€œmanagerā€) is realā€”especially with my husband as the CEO. Balancing these two roles is crucial, and Iā€™ve learned a lot about how to navigate this through both successes and tough lessons. Iā€™m a curious gal - so here are some questions for ya: 1) How are you balancing your creative and operational tasks as you build your online community? 2) Who else works with their spouse? I included the Spotify link below in case anyone hasnā€™t got a chance to hear this. Itā€™s solid gold! https://open.spotify.com/episode/4NzLKKEhH9T1QJ3RE6nC00?si=9ScDnQFxSbC7af__j3vsSQ&context=spotify%3Ashow%3A6YNopzKDGDwf0auIpPTIID&t=3

@Veronica Aguilar Iā€™ve found that blocking out specific ā€œmakerā€ days for deep, uninterrupted work has helped me stay focused on creative projects, while setting aside time for ā€œmanagerā€ tasks keeps me grounded in the logistics. Itā€™s awesome that you have a clear split in your scheduleā€”it can be hard to find that rhythm!
