Cravings!
Ugh, cravings. Am I right? I have never been shy around sweet and salty snacks, especially growing up in my grandmas house. BUT my pmdd makes ignoring or replacing those cravings so hard. I have had some issues the last couple of years with overindulging myself on sweet and salty snacks, but I am finally at a place where it’s getting to be unhealthy. I want to turn this car around, quick! Any advice or similar stories?

@Courtney McKinley that is such a good idea. I have tried portioning myself before, but I always end up going back. It's that self-control that is SO hard for me. I am wondering if adding vitamins and supplements into my diet would be helpful? I am just at a loss.

@Jes Fleming Yay! I am enrolled in the rehab course and just completed module one- my SMART goal is centered around eliminating cravings! It is good to know it's not just about willpower because the harder I fight it the larger the cravings come! THANK YOU! 🤩

Hi Lauren!
👋 Hi, I’m Kamryn!
Hi, my name is Kamryn. I live in Glendale Heights, Illinois, and I’m excited to be a part of this community because I want to hear from women going through the same things I’m dealing with, offer insights to others with what has helped me, and to learn from others too. I’m looking to get these 3 things from the community: 1. Dealing with being in a relationship during PMDD 2. Coping skills 3. Supplements/vitamins For fun, I like to do these 4 things: 1. Get crafty 2. Bake 3. Decorate 4. & workout!

Hi Kamryn! Welcome!
Hi my name is Anne and I’m from a town in Pennsylvania called Saint Mary’s.
I hope to be able to find relief being able to talk about things that only someone with PMDD understands. I can’t wait to see what works for some people and doesn’t work for others. Thank you so much for adding me to your group. I have struggled with PMDD for about 30 years (I’m 44 now) but was not diagnosed until about 8 years ago. It destroyed so many years of my left cause I didn’t understand what was wrong with me. It will be so nice to have others with PMDD to communicate with. Thanks and you all will be in my prayers

Hi Anne! Getting a diagnosis seems so simple, but it truly means so much, doesn’t it?? My diagnosis helped me to realize that I am NOT crazy and eliminated several other mental illnesses my therapist and primary care doctor were considering at the time. I’m hoping you get the support you need with this community!
