How to NEVER Break Free from Alcohol: A Guide To Relapse 🫣
How to successfully relapse over and over again with a 100% guarantee – or make absolutely sure you never truly break free from alcohol: This “guide” is available in the latest episode! OF COURSE, THIS ISN’T MEANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY! 🙌 This is the so-called “Handstand Method,” where you do the opposite to achieve a certain goal. Everyone can probably come up with 5 to 10 reasons they’d relapse right away, right? Feel free to share them in the comments! ✍🏻 The art here is then to: “Simply” do the opposite of that 😉

How to NEVER Break Free from Alcohol: A Guide To Relapse 🫣
Hey, I’m Dennis 👋
Hello, everyone! I’m Dennis, 43 years young, and I’ve been sober for over five years now. I run the podcast “Soberly Speaking,” this community here, and I also offer programs (DryMind) and one-on-one support. My journey and my “method” differ quite a bit from what mainstream medicine usually suggests, but for me, it’s not about a lifetime of abstinence; it’s about genuinely not wanting alcohol anymore. So, moving away from “Damn, I can never drink again” and towards “Yeah, I never have to drink again!” Since 2019, I’ve grown beyond that whole mess, and I try to promote a positive image of a sober life wherever I can. I put my face in front of cameras and microphones, not to preach but simply to spread awareness. I’m looking forward to lively discussions here. And hey: Just because I have my own opinions and am the founder of this platform doesn’t mean I have all the answers ✌️

Hi everyone! Alcohol addiction is an immensely emotional topic, and everyone has their own story: you have yours, and I have mine. This is not about “higher, faster, further,” or about who’s “right.” It’s also not about who has it worse, or who had it worse. Often, it’s not even all the details of our own stories that are most important. What matters is this: We’re all here because alcohol has affected us in some way. And because we all want to do something about it. We’re tired of fearing relapses or dealing with stigma. Often, we’re here because we haven’t yet found a way out of addiction. This community is an attempt to create an open space for exchange and a platform where people can connect with like-minded individuals. 👋 I’m Dennis, the founder of all this. I drank for 22 years and managed to quit in 2019. Since then, I’ve been helping others quit as well. I host the podcast “Soberly Speaking,” offer support through programs and mentoring, and put my face in front of cameras and microphones—all while trying to approach this dusty topic in a fresh way. ☝️ I’m not here to preach to anyone; I just want to spread awareness. And I want to suggest a different mindset, one that worked for me (and thousands of others by now): Moving away from “I CAN’T have alcohol anymore” and towards “Yeah, I NEVER have to drink again!” 💪 This is NOT an advertising platform for my stuff, but, of course, I have my own experiences and opinions. Nevertheless, everyone is welcome to share here, as long as it’s helpful and respects basic human decency 🙌 Let’s virtually join hands and see how we can kick that annoying stuff called alcohol right in the rear! I’m excited to connect with every single one of you! 🤗

Talking to the doctor?
Have you ever talked to your doctor about alcohol? And: What did they say? Was it helpful, or more like “they didn’t have a clue themselves"?
