Hello, everyone!
I’m Dennis, 43 years young, and I’ve been sober for over five years now.
I run the podcast “Soberly Speaking,” this community here, and I also offer programs (DryMind) and one-on-one support.
My journey and my “method” differ quite a bit from what mainstream medicine usually suggests, but for me, it’s not about a lifetime of abstinence; it’s about genuinely not wanting alcohol anymore.
So, moving away from “Damn, I can never drink again” and towards “Yeah, I never have to drink again!”
Since 2019, I’ve grown beyond that whole mess, and I try to promote a positive image of a sober life wherever I can. I put my face in front of cameras and microphones, not to preach but simply to spread awareness.
I’m looking forward to lively discussions here.
And hey:
Just because I have my own opinions and am the founder of this platform doesn’t mean I have all the answers ✌️
