I'm here but have been super quiet. I haven't worked out everyday, mostly because some of the workouts I have been doing require at least a day of rest. BUT, I will say that Rob's post about preparing for early morning workouts has turned me into an AM exerciser. It's been a game changer for me

Weights vs CrossFit vs HIIT?
Coach Rob, I was wondering if you can break down the pros and cons of different types of workouts: traditional resistance training + cardio, CrossFit-style workouts, HIIT, and whatever else is out there! Since it sounds like we are all limited on time, I'm wondering if you have thoughts on which delivers the most "bang for buck". I know anything is better than nothing and workout style probably depends based on goals, but any thoughts on how to navigate all the options?

I wanna be fully transparent here. I want to help more people. Like people who want change. Want to feel better. Want to be coached. And I can put together trainings and videos that help the general public, but that rarely helps YOU. Health and fitness is VERY individualized. So my "top recipes" won't help people who can't cook. Hi everyone! Dave G here. I know developing new habits is much easier when doing so with others so I'm really glad to have found this group! I'm a former collegiate high jumper who used to be very disciplined with fitness. Like others here, kids and work forced me out of my old routines and I'm looking to rediscover healthy habits with you all. I'm originally from the farmlands of California but now live in the the northern Bay Area. Favorite ice cream is Rocky Road and TV show is Peaky Blinders.
