First game: Farkle Dungeon
I am working on my first mobile game. I call it Farkle: Dungeon, which is a combination of a casual dice game (Farkle) and a RPG dungeon crawler. I have already implemented the game logic where you play against the computer and move on to battle through multiple dungeon levels until the enemies are to strong. While you battle your enemies you will collect resources to level up your gear in the crafting section. Right now I am working on the graphics. What do you think of the idea and start screen so far?

This looks great! Are you building with Unity?
Work for yourself first
If you trying to succeed as an indie app developer, block two morning hours in a calendar to work on your Apps. - in a week nothing will happen - in a months you will start to see a progress - a year later you will be surprised with results For years I was working for others before invested time in myself. My side projects were left for evenings where I had low energy after day job and often was busy engaging with family (I'm married with two kids) Everything changed when I started to work for myself first and and only after that take care about day job and daily tasks.

100% agree with this!
Cross-platform development
Hi all! Has anyone had an opportunity to try out Skip (https://skip.tools/)? This looks like an interesting cross-platform solution for iOS devs.

@Amarildo Lucas that's an awesome friend :) Kotlin/Compose and Swift/SwiftUI are pretty similar, its not a huge barrier to overcome to move from one platform to the other.

@Teo Aevin agreed.. it would depend on the potential revenue an app could generate from the PlayStore
Why most indie devs fail (and how to beat the odds)
Pop quiz: What kills most app projects? A) Bad code B) Lack of marketing C) Tough competition The real answer? Loneliness and lack of accountability. Coding solo is a fast track to burnout and unfinished projects. But there's a fix. It's not fancy. It's not high-tech. But it works. Community. Here's how our Indie App Dev Forum changes the game: - Instant feedback on your ideas (save months of wasted coding) - Beta testers eager to break your app (in a good way) - Accountability to keep you shipping It's like having a team of co-founders, without giving up equity. Your mission: 1. Join our next group call (Wednesday’s coworking call) 2. Share your biggest app roadblock 3. Help solve someone else's problem and we’ll do the same for you Remember: Every app empire could start with a single post. P.S. Stuck on something? Post in the “questions” channel. You'll have solutions within hours.

I’ll be there! Looking forward to it!
Who’s using Cursor AI for Swift development?
Finally got to install it and use it working on my app. It’s amazing how fast you can debug or create new features. The the ones who are already using it. Are you using it for free or paid? What tipps and tricks can you share?
