First game: Farkle Dungeon
I am working on my first mobile game. I call it Farkle: Dungeon, which is a combination of a casual dice game (Farkle) and a RPG dungeon crawler. I have already implemented the game logic where you play against the computer and move on to battle through multiple dungeon levels until the enemies are to strong. While you battle your enemies you will collect resources to level up your gear in the crafting section. Right now I am working on the graphics. What do you think of the idea and start screen so far?

@Simoo Emkoss thanks. My plan is to implement some sort of crafting system, where you can collect resources from fallen enemies and invest them into more advanced gear. This is the free version of the game. To accelerate this process you will be able to buy resource packages for some real money. Advertising between the games would be another option, but not really sure about that at the moment.

@Dave McCollough No. I am developing the whole app in Swift and SwiftUI natively.
🚀 APP idea validation challenge starts today! 🎂
Links to the Zoom calls are already available in the calendar. It is my birthday, so I enabled a free 7-day trial for Indie App Accelerator. So you can jump in for this week and have access to all additional resources inside. I don't know how long I will have a free trial enabled. Depends on how many people will come in and how that will impact the community, but it is available today. Plan for this week: - Monday: Generate profitable app ideas (Today!) - Tuesday: Q&A and Support Call - Wednesday: Market research & Validation - Thursday: Know your customer - Friday: No meetings work on customer profile - Saturday: Plan your MVP - Sunday: Take a break and start building on Monday Schedule: - Live sessions at 10 PM (Riga time) - Q&A after each session - Recordings available the next day See you tonight 🚀 Aivars

Happy Birthday! 🥳
What's your endgame?
You're starting to get a solid foundation of what it takes to succeed in the App Store. But here's a question that's been nagging at me: What's your endgame? Are you planning to keep building apps as a side hustle, or are you itching to turn this into your main gig? There's no wrong answer. But… If you're leaning towards the latter, I’ve got a story for you. 2 years ago, I was juggling freelance work and tinkering with app ideas on the side. I was making progress, but it felt slow. Glacial, even. Then I had a revelation: I was treating my app business like a hobby, not a startup. What did I do? I started approaching it with the mindset of a CEO. Invested in myself, sought out mentors, and surrounded myself with other serious app entrepreneurs. The result? My app income tripled in 6 months. If this resonates with you, if you're ready to shift gears from hobbyist to app mogul, I'd love to chat. I’ve put together a small circle of serious app creators. It's not for everyone. But for people looking to take their side hobby FULL TIME, it’s the catalyst that’ll change everything. Curious? Click here to claim your spot. P.S. Whether you join us or not, keep building.

Paywall Inspiration
To get some inspiration for my paywall I used this website https://www.paywallscreens.com . The great thing about this website is, you get paywall screenshots from all different categories. But not only that, you can even see how much revenue they have per month. You can use this information also to look for your next app inspiration ;) Where do you get inspiration for app screen designs?

Need help with App Store Connect > IAP prepare for review
Hey, I've got a little problem here. I have created an IAP item and everything works fine. But when I now want to give that in review, I have to provide a screenshot for the review team. It says I need to upload 1024x1024 RGB PNG or JPG file. Which I try, but whenever I try to upload, it says that it has the wrong resolution. Am I missing something here? PS: screenshot is in German. Sorry for that.

@George Valandis did that. No difference. I also created another file in Pixelmator with the exact requirements: 1024x1024, sRGB, 72 dpi, white background. Exported as JPG and PNG. 🤷🏻‍♂️

ok. I found the mistake. I was looking at the documentation about App Store screenshots. Turns out that there is another option and another page of documentation here https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/reference/screenshot-specifications it shows other dimensions and requirements. With this information it works as expected.
