Most women don’t know this…
I found an old picture of myself after a bodybuilding competition (photo on the left) Most women would kill to have a physique like this: Single digit body fat percentage + visible abs But let me tell you something VERY personal 🤫 My time as a professional bodybuilder was the darkest chapter of my life. It’s ironic, isn’t it… I spent 6 years chasing perfection. The “perfect” body - the “perfect” diet - the “perfect” routine And once I got to the point I thought would make me happy: ….8% body fat… I was miserable 😢 More than ever. Why? Holding the photo in my hand now, staring into my hollow eyes and forced smile, I realised something important most women NEVER find out: It’s not about IF you lose fat, it’s about HOW you lose fat… Is your journey looking like my bodybuilder days: ❌Cardio 6x week ❌Cutting calories to 900-1200 kcal a day ❌Feeling guilty after every “cheat” meal. ❌Constantly second-guessing your food choices ❌Gaining the weight back after burning out from extreme plans ❌Living an “all or nothing” life that sucks the joy out of everything Or like this: ✅ Enjoying balanced meals that include your favorite foods ✅ Doing workouts you love, not just endless cardio ✅ Eating enough to fuel your body and feel satisfied ✅ Allowing yourself occasional indulgences guilt-free ✅ Finding a healthy balance that you can maintain long-term ✅ Progressing with small, sustainable changes that fit your lifestyle No wonder I wasn’t happy 😅 Who would be? It’s always been something I wanted to do but since following you for a while then taking that plunge to join the StringAF sisterhood, you have shown me that no one has the perfect body as we are all different shapes and sizes and we should lovr our bodies inside and out 🧡

With all the TikTok workout plans, you’re probably more confused than ever 🤣 So, here’s your 4-step Beginner Gym Girl Guide to real results 🥰👇 Step 1: Stop speed-dating your workouts Stick to the same routine for 4-6 weeks to let your muscles adapt and grow. Sexy physique = consistency 💕 Step 2: The “hourglass” physique approach Want bigger glutes and a smaller waist? Train your upper body too! It helps create the illusion of a smaller waist and fuller glutes. 💃 Step 3: Compound over Isolation Isolation exercises (like hamstring curls, glute kickbacks) only work one small muscle. Compound exercises (like deadlifts, hip thrusts) hit multiple muscles at once, building more muscle and burning more fat. Prioritize compound exercises for quicker results. 🏋️‍♀️ Step 4: The “more = more” concept Increase your weights over time to grow stronger and see more defined muscles. Progressive overload = serious gains! 🏋️‍♀️ So leave those 1 lbs dumbbells behind and start lifting like a boss with proper weight to see proper results. Welcome to Part 3 of the ‘Strong, Sexy, and Effortless’ course! Today, we’re tackling a mistake no one talks about when it comes to building a strong, sexy feminine physique: Undereating!! Most women think that eating less is the key to getting that toned, sexy body. But guess what? It’s actually killing your progress 😧 Let me explain…If you’re not giving your body enough fuel; ❌ Your workouts will suffer, ❌You won’t have the energy to lift heavy, ❌And as a result, you won’t build muscle. Even worse…you could actually lose muscle BY forcing your body to break down muscle tissue for energy. But on the flip side…*important as well 👇*... Eating too much will keep you from seeing progress. So what’s the sweet spot? well, let me tailor the answer to your situation so that you get the results you want 😘 Situation 1: If you’re happy with how much body fat you have right now, Start at maintenance calories. This means eating enough to maintain your current weight while focusing on building muscle through weight training. Situation 2: If you still want to lose a bit more fat, Start with a ‘sensible’ calorie deficit — about 15-20%. This is just enough to burn fat while still fueling your body to maintain muscle. This way…you’ll burn fat while keeping your body fueled to preserve muscle. Getting YOU that ‘toned’ look 🙂 Instead of that ‘skinny fat’ look ☹️ It’s not about eating LESS, it’s about eating SMARTER. This is so true, I used to think if I ate less it would help me to get the body I wanted. But to be honest it made me ill and I used to train on an empty stomach most of the time and go home and eat some peanuts or something else. I have realised the more you eat, the more you are likely to get the results you want. ❤️
