Downloads...
As you may be aware, I just launched my podcast "Talking SASSI About Abuse: Amplifying Women's Voices" on October 6th. I have posted 3 episodes and the trailer. That's it. Tomorrow will be episode 4. Looking at my numbers, by accident, I have 19 downloads in the last 30 days. As a complete newbie... Is this good? And the only reason I ask is because I have been following @Jamie Atkinson's teachings. So, is it working or not?

How Can I Help You? [Podcast Edition]
I'm a helper, and I love helping people. I'm also an expert at solving problems and creating solutions (plus I'm a master researcher). I want to provide some value here, as a way of further connecting to quality people. So, my offer is to help you, to the best of my ability, with any challenge you're having, right here on this thread. I'm not pitching anything, not going to ask for a DM, real help, right here for everyone to see. I've already started with someone who wanted to know more about AudioGrams. Not only will this help you, but my hope is that it will also help anyone else reading this post. So, let me know what you're having a challenge with, and let's keep this one related to Podcasting (after all, that's what this whole community is about, right?) To give you some ideas... --> Mindset Challenges --> Tech Questions --> Audio Questions --> Production Questions --> Guest Questions --> Host Questions (Keep in mind this will all be my take on things, being that you're here, you should follow what Jamie & Angel teach here. I'm offering my perspective to help move things forward & provide value to the community as a whole.)

I need actionable steps to getting an episode, short or full, on other social media platforms such as IG and TikTok. I have not done it yet and I would like to reach my audience where they are.

@David Caren This is very useful and helpful. I am still learning this part as I go. Thank You! Much gratitude, my friend! πŸ™
Podcast and Offer
Can someone (Roger?) LOL, clarify something for me? As you know, I just started the podcast... And still listening (and learning) to Jamie's trainings. Are we SUPPOSED to, sell, promote, talk about, etc. our offer on every podcast episode? I'm confused, but I'm blonde, so... but not blonde enough to get locked into my car 🀣🀣🀣

Some Back Story & An Evolution
Why am I sharing this? I was having a conversation with @Jaclyn Gee and she was sharing about her Doom To Bloom Podcast where she brings awareness of trauma, mental health, & addiction working to break the stigma. She is bringing light to these types of struggles she witnesses working with the unhoused population working as front line support. This brought up my own history & part of my own origin story, so I wanted to share with others some positive things that can come from witnessing and living around such intense struggles in my own childhood. I was raised by a heroine-addicted mom with mental health issues, at times eating from garbage cans to survive. Also being around addiction recovery my whole childhood I have been witness to the struggles. Matter of fact, having to "coach" my own mom from as far back as I can remember as a method of not only my own survival, but making sure she was able to take care of all 5 of her kids (4 after my brother passed at 19 from living a hard life on the streets) gave me a ton of experience and motivation to solve problems and help people to process mental and emotional shit. That was the foundation of what I do now. While the experiences have been incredibly intense at times, and perhaps far outside of the norm, this has also provided me the ability to go extremely deep mentally & emotionally with people I work with without judgement. This piece of my story gave me incredible problem solving skills and emotional & trauma processing abilities. My childhood has given me the experiences that set the stage for my passion and how I help the world, because of my challenges. The takeaway is that no matter what someone might be going through, it CAN set the stage for something incredible on the other side of it. One of the greatest ways to help someone, is to listen, without judgement, and to simply provide a safe space to FEEL.

Re reading this... my release of my podcast on Saturday was talking about this. How we don't talk enough about suicide, especially in Women of Abuse. It's the latest episode if any one is interested
How Would You Answer These?
Happy New Month and Happy Halloween πŸŽƒ! I hope you all had a spook-tacular time and please tell me you didn’t dress up as Barbie πŸŽ€. You know like those guys on tiktok. Or did you just wear your normal clothes, stay home and watch Netflix? 😁 Whatever you did, I hope you had fun and ate lots of candy. But not too much. Remember, health is wealth. Speaking of wealth, I need your advice on something. A few days ago. I'm sitting in my bedroom slash office, when I hopped on a call with one of my new clients, Alex, who is a big shot in the podcast world and He wants me to redesign his website to reduce his bounce rate and increase his conversion. How did I bag him as a client? It’s kind of a long story, so we'll save it for another post, but let’s just say it involved some clever networking, some ballsy pitching, and some blackmail. Just kidding. Just Kidding. So, what did we talk about? Well, I can’t spill all the beans, but I would share with you a piece of advice he said that made me rethink my whole business strategy. Have you ever had one of those moments when someone says something that changes everything? Yeah, Yeah, it was like that! Here is what he said: One of the biggest mistakes that most people make is trying to sell to everyone. They think that by casting a wide net, they will catch more fish. But what they don’t realize is that by doing so, they are also catching a lot of trash and wasting a lot of time. The truth is, you can’t sell to everyone. You can only sell to someone. And that someone is your ideal customer. The person who needs your service the most, who has the most pain, who has the willingness to buy. You need to find a small and specific market that you can dominate. A market that is hungry for what you have to offer. Now, before you roll your eyes and say β€œduh”, let me explain. When I first heard that, I was like, Whhhat?.. Are you kidding me? I said that in my mind. I’ve been building conversion focused websites from Fortune 500 companies to startups for years.

How Would You Answer These?

My first comment is, very nicely done on the confusion part of the poll. Well played, sir. Secondly, as someone who, in a former life, used to be just as nerdy, I think you might have answered your own question by highlighting your "findings" regarding coaches. We are what we are because we love what we do. But we also know the value of having a website people can find all our information on. Now, as a business consultant, again, in a previous life, look at the business side of starting another agency and all that goes with that. Do you really want to have a second tax return? Ugh As I think you already know, LOL, the answer is right in front of you when you said, "niche down my existing agency and focus only on coaching clients"... Ultimately, if there's is anything we have truly learned and try to master at my age, it is to do what gives us the most joy and happiness. So here's my little poll for you: 1. Have 2 agencies, and thereby more stress and headaches 2. Keep 1 agency, and niche down, fulfilling more joy and happiness to those that need it therefore providing you with more joy and happiness, or 3. Throw these polls out the window along with status quo and do what makes you happy and money. 😁
