Book or Research Paper Recommendations?
From scouring the forum, aside from a few comments here and there, I haven't seen a dedicated forum post. I am a 4th year movement coach who has a sport science background (but I honestly don't give my education much credit to where I am now). I feel like I am still scratching the surface and want to do everything I can to be the best coach possible for my clients. I'm open to any and all information resources that may help me get there.

@Angus Bradley that works too! haha. Loosely, I suppose I'm looking for things along the lines of periodization, programming, and implementation with clients. I think what I am doing makes sense, and have shifted over from using percentages and conjugate style training systems in exchange for using RIR and general progressive overload with deload weeks. Is what I'm doing the *best* way to do it? I'm not sure. I just want to give my clients the best 60 minutes of their day and am open to all ideas on how to get there.
Did my first ever vlog
Went to the wave pool yesterday and decided to vlog that plus my workout for the day. Please leave a comment to help me out in the youtube algorithm haha: https://youtu.be/NxAWp4P45HA

I've never wanted a wave pool so badly (great lakes surfer here, we're about to enter our summertime 'flat' season - jokes on us though it's always flat here)

@Angus Bradley I'm currently on the "North Shore" in Minnesota, but yes Michigan too. Stoney Point is probably the most ocean-esque wave here - it can get double overhead and barrels if we're lucky. As far as taking a trip to a wave pool - I think Kelly's surf ranch is like $2,000 for a half day, but I'll look into the Waco one!
