@Heather Dunphy That’s an awesome shift! 🙌🏾 Becoming more self-aware and present, especially in conversations, is a powerful change. Really listening instead of just waiting to respond is huge for building deeper connections. And major respect for sticking to your commitment at the wedding! I know that couldn’t have been easy, especially with all the social pressure. But you did it, that’s a win right there! How do you feel after making it through? @Samuel Odufuwa I hear you! Staying focused can be tough, especially with all the distractions we face daily. One thing that’s helped me is breaking tasks into smaller chunks and setting short, focused time blocks. It’s easier to lock in for 25-30 minutes, take a quick break, and then get back to it. Have you tried anything like that yet? Also, remember, focus is a muscle—each day you push through, you’re strengthening it. You got this! 💪🏾 What’s the main thing you’re trying to focus on right now?
Day 5 Check-In: Pushing Through the Struggle 😫
I’m not gonna lie, yesterday was rough. The excitement from the first few days is starting to wear off, and the grind is kicking in. I had a moment earlier where I felt like slipping back into some old habits, but I reminded myself why I’m doing this. I’ve been focusing on keeping my routine tight, early mornings, workouts, and staying off distractions. It’s not perfect, but I’m staying consistent, and that’s what counts. Every day I push through, I’m getting a little stronger mentally. How’s everyone else feeling around Day 5? Let’s keep each other motivated and keep pushing!
