Hey, Y'all, hope everyone has been doing well. I know I have been radio silent these past couple of weeks, but for good reason. Allow me to update y'all on what's been going on: Since I last spoke with @Paul Benjamin and the rest of the guys on Zoom, I transferred departments at the company I work at (moved from Inside Sales to working out on the warehouse floor) and couldn't be happier with this choice. My tasks are straight forward and fairly simple, and I feel accomplished completing them. The best part is, unlike sales, the work does not follow me home, which is heavenly. The hours and pay are awesome as well. I work 50-60 hours in the warehouse and can cover all of my expenses while still throwing the extra money into savings/investments/charity/fun spending. Since work doesn't affect my personal time anymore, I know have 10-20 hours a week I devote to studying/recertifying as a Personal Trainer and going through @Paul Benjamin's modules. I'll be certified in 2-3 months; once I have that, I already know where I'll need to apply to acquire a job that will give me the best opportunity to build 1 on 1 training experience with clients (I spoke with several successful personal trainers I know in my area about where to start). Next, I have also had several discussions with my MMA/Boxing coach about future business plans with him, and learning his craft so I can not only condition his fight guys, but also become proficient enough to have me as a coach (This will help me long term because I want to eventually specialize as a trainer of combat athletes). Here is what my weekdays have been looking like: 4-5 AM: Study PT 5-6 AM: Get ready for work 7-5 PM: Work 6:30-8:30: Combat Training, Church classes, or Free Mason practice (Depends on the Day) 9:30-10 PM: Bed Time (If earlier, even better) Saturdays I'll either work Overtime till 5, or if I have social plans already set, I'll take the day off and do those.
