Wanted to ask this during motivation & mindset Monday class, but I can't make it because of an early ice session tomorrow. So I'll ask it on here. How do you stay motivated even when you don't feel like doing drills or taking shots? Thanks!

I'm still fairly new to hockey. I was wondering if players who are veterans sharpen their skates to 5/8"? The place I went to accidentally gave me blades with 5/8" and I couldn't feel my edges. I skate on 1/2". Is this something I should be working toward? Thanks in advance.
