☯️ Letting Go 🌪️ How To Release Your Power 💥
Letting go of what is holding you back is the key to moving forward into your potential and your power. It can be physical, emotional, or mental blockages that pull us back from that which we want in our lives. If you want more loving, supportive relationships, what emotions are you holding on to that are repelling those relationships? If you want more money, what beliefs are blocking the accumulation of wealth? If you want to express your potential, what thought patterns and emotions prevent you from taking action towards your goals? Lao Tzu taught us that everything we want in life comes from letting go. This never made any sense to me, until I realized that I was the blockage to everything that I desired in my life. I had to let go of lack. I had to let go of betrayal. I had to let go of doubt and fear, before I could fully step into a sense of freedom, power, flow and belief in myself. I was sitting on my balcony in Cyprus doing a meditation. Long story short, at the end of the deep meditation, I had let go of a major anger/resentment inside of myself. When I got up, and walked towards the beach, I felt like I was floating. The weight that had come off my shoulders, literally made me feel lighter. When I got to the ocean, I dived in and I felt like I was flying through the water. It was an incredible sensation. When my father died, I got divorced and broke my ankle, all in the same month, a lot of the grief and negative emotions came up to play. The skill of letting go helped me to transcend all these emotions within less than a month. To be honest with you, I felt unstoppable. Now you may be wondering, how does this relate to Kung Fu? Kung Fu is about the expression of your potential. Kung Fu is about being the greatest version of yourself. And if you’re holding on to negative emotions, unsupportive thought patterns, false beliefs, toxic relationships, then you are blocking the greatest version of yourself. Learning to let go is one of the greatest skills that you can ever develop, and what you realize as you get better at it, is that it’s actually quite a natural condition.
