Monthly Newsletter
Can anyone here give advice on using a monthly newsletter to followers and previous buyers? What do you mention? Trends? Coupons? New products? Any positive results from the effort? At this point I have far more questions than answers.

@Jerry Wilson same boat, here’s what I’ve seen. It depends on the volume you want to send..ie weekly, monthly etc. I would highlight the new products that have arrived, give them exclusive information about that 20% off sale you want to run. Maybe that sale will be 15% off to the public and and extra 5 % for them with their own coupon code. Then hook them with any clearance sales etc

@Jerry Wilson I have to look into how people follow us after a sale
Thoughts on Ebay Vendoo subscriptions
I am three months into the reselling business. I am still learning and building my business. I am working part-time but want to grow to full-time eventually. I was wondering when you should invest in an eBay store. I've also looked into Vendoo and listed five items for free on Poshmark through Vendoo. So many decisions, I just don't want to lose money and get in over my head. Any advice or what you have experienced just starting??

@Jessica Armer same. Manual tracking became overwhelming and always in the trenches. Getting a 3rd party software allowed me to review reports, make better decisions and hold sales or clean out inventory, plus I want to cross list certain items too. So it helped
The new Ebay discounted postal rates
Since this was just in a discussion post with Wes I wanted to ask. Has everyone turned on the option to give the buyer the new Ebay shipping discounts? I had not done that, and when Beau reviewed my store, he said over and over "your shipping is too high", and I let him know I use calculated shipping so I have no control over the "shipping cost". I'm in Florida, he's in Oregon, so he is seeing the highest possible shipping rates on my items. Sooooooo I went into my shipping policies and turned on the option to pass on the shipping discount rate to the buyers. I do believe it has increased my sales by a little bit but nothing massive. What is everyone else doing with this?

Measurements Rarely Match Factory Size
Factory size in pants doesn’t mean much other than what it was when it left the factory. Rarely do measurements match these specs. I measure the following to within 1/2 inch. 1. Waste laying flat 2. Length of the pants 3. Rise 4. Inseam 5. Width of the cuff At what point do you abandon the factory size and go with what you measured? I occasionally see hems that have been altered. I always use the new measurements in these cases. Not asking about those.

I get these questions a lot too. I show measurements every time, so it’s clear. Shoes too as it seems those have the most fluctuations. It’s also made me a better online shopper too.
NWT but really thrifted
Ok, you pick up clothing at thrift that is clearly new with tags. You wouldn't remove the tags to wash it, but you have no way to make sure it hasn't picked up pet smell, cigarette smell, or dirty people smell in it's journey from manufacturer to you. To avoid any returns or bad feedback, how do you treat the clothing or what disclaimer would you use?

I’ve seen lots of YouTube videos where the NWT has been an issue. As I understand it, unless you’ve bought it from a direct source, you have to list it as used. In your pics & description you can note it as with tags, and also some labels have guarantees with their clothing that you can’t offer. So I list mine as used. As far as smell? , I hate clothes that smell of Downey, Gain etc. so I try to launder clothes with uncented soap. We are required to clean the items, not over power the buyer with a toxic cleaning agent when they open the package.
