90 day total
So My 90 day total for sales is $4992.16. What is your 90 day total? Do you consider my 90 day total to be good?

Let me give this a shot. Some people are going to be hesitant to give their 90 day total due to embarrassment. Many here are new and no where near your total. I would say to look at your progress compared to the previous 90 days. If you are growing by double digits then I would be very happy and continue what you are doing. If not, then take a look at your titles, keywords and prices. Get things right in your store. I say these things because comparing yourself to others is dangerous. Compare your performance to others via % numbers. Growth, impressions, clicks and conversion rates are what I look at. For me: Growth 76% increase Impressions 23.7% decrease Clicks 0.1% increase Conversion 0.6% increase These are the metrics I pay attention to. I hope this helps.

@Carla Hounsel most excellent. Especially since you are still learning what sells. I encourage you to come here daily to learn more. Ask questions and continue to stay involved.
Pricing Methods
Curious what people are using for their pricing methods. I recently shifted to a more structured pricing plan from the guesses and comp matching that I was using before. I use the Research tool to look up the item. I see the 90 day ASP for the item. I then divide it by .75. This then gives me the approximate listing price. Here is an example. ASP of $19.25 / .75 =$25.67 I would list the item at $26.00 I then run a sale event for the item at 20% off. This makes the actual price $20.80. This leaves a 5% margin left to send a small offer to a liker. How do you calculate your listing price? Is my method too much work? Yes, I have to have the entire store on some sort of sale even all of the time. Is this too much?

@John Furness this is working better for me. I went from selling 2 per day to 4-5 per day almost immediately. Shocking, actually. Is it the Q4 bounce? Partially. But I will take it.

@John Furness it does take longer to list each item. But I feel it is worth it to get in line with the item trends at the moment. List price on eBay is a commodity based economy. Unlike retail stores with a set margin. We have to go with market price of the item. That will change almost daily and certainly seasonally. What I am suggesting is we give the appearance of a great deal, yet stay within reason of the average selling price at the time.
Listing Schedule
How do you handle your listings? Do you list at the same time each day? Do you just work it around your schedule as you find time? I usually list pretty much the same time each day, but I am looking to change things up some. With the shorter daylight hours this time of year, daylight is a premium for me. I have a farm I run in addition to eBay, and the things needing completed on the farm pretty much need to be completed during day light. I have always struggled with listing in the evenings, because I am usually up by 4am getting some of my eBay task completed, and waiting on daylight. I am thinking about trying the separate way of listing that so many others do, and take my photos either in the evening, and complete my listings the next day, or photo in the mornings, and complete listings in the evening. How about yourself? Do you try different ways of list? Different times of listing? Has making changes like this helped you to stay more consistent?

@John Furness the theory is people will shop during their morning routine before going to work. I have my items scheduled to post at 8:00 am. I set and forget them days ahead of time.
Have you ever noticed the time lag?
Have you ever noticed the time lag between your phone and Computer in the eBay System? I have seen my phone show a offer come in, and be working in my store on my computer and have it take an hour or more before it shows up on the computer. Even when I am on my computer, I use multiple tabs for my eBay store, and one will show a offer, or sell while the other doesn't update to show it, even after refreshing the screen.

I have noticed a lag but not an hour. That seems excessive.
