@Michelle Leong Welcome, Michelle! You’re in the perfect place to learn and grow. Transitioning from starting out to making that first sale is a huge step, and you’ll definitely benefit from your membership to @Accelerator University, watching and learning from @Alexi Drouin His strategies around selling products people actually need, building automated systems, and scaling efficiently are exactly what you’re looking for. It’s great that you’re already taking action, and with the right systems in place, you’ll be well on your way to turning your side hustle into something much bigger. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Welcome back, it’s been a while since we last heard from you. Great to see you have been working on something. 💪🏾. Sorry my feedback won’t be of much use to you. I’m new to the new world of minimalist websites. I’m more of an old school guy, long form naturally, designed to sell on the spot. My untrained eye likes it though, let’s hear what others think.

Investing 💵 in Systems & People !
Invest in people to walk together. Invest in systems to move faster. Do both to go farther. Inspired by @Elena Stojkovska ’s post https://www.skool.com/acceleratoruniversity/lessons-ive-learned-from-chris-watters-building-a-legacy-in-real-estate-and-beyond?p=238b592b Enjoy !

@O R I explained it below, in two separate posts, I hope I made it clearer. Basically, By aligning people with systems, you create a flywheel effect, people drive the systems, and the systems enhance their productivity. That’s how you move faster and farther! Remember that slow season when your client can’t attend because of flu ?. The last time we discussed that issue I suggested something, and hinted at using tools / systems to help you make some cash during the slow season. ( if you manage to invest in systems to overcome the issues you face, that’s a step in the right direction) Ps. This is not unsolicited advice, this is earned privilege 😂. / you asked for it. Great to see you are still active in the community 🚀🚀

Group Name Update: Welcome to “Accelerator University”! 🚀
Hey Everyone, On August 22, 2024, Sam Ovens, CEO of Skool, messaged me directly and told me that the Hormozi Team would like me to change the “Acquisition University” group’s name and logo. I immediately updated the logo and renamed the group to “Hormozi Community” for a few weeks, but I’ve now decided to rebrand our community to: “Accelerator University.” 🚀 From the start, I’ve always said I would "gift" this group to Leila and Alex Hormozi. My intention is to support Acquisition.com’s mission. As Alex Hormozi teaches, I wanted to demonstrate my skills by actually building the group itself. But the results of curating and publishing over 800 videos of Leila and Alex Hormozi on the Skool platform, led to a rapid organic growth of this group to over 6.8k members in ~6 months. This further focused and motivated me to build one of the best free and public communities on Skool. I originally created this group to scratch my own itch and hopefully highlight my skills to maybe one day join Hormozi's Team. But my understanding is that I might have been ahead of the curve since they were not hiring a Director of Education at Acquisition.com at this time. Therefore, I just continued to build and optimize this free and public group to help the thousands of members joining everyday. My goal was always to build this group for Leila and Alex Hormozi, to promote their mission, attract more companies to attend the workshop in Las Vegas, and or promote Alex’s books. By organizing and curating Leila and Alex Hormozi’s content, my goal was to shorten the time-to-value and make it faster and easier to consume their overwhelming amount of content. I was hoping their team would see our group as a new asset for their brand portfolio to build even more goodwill with their followers. And since Alex has The Skool Games, I was also hoping this group could be Leila’s community on Skool to promote Acquisition.com. As Alex Hormozi has stated many times, education is the only true legacy, and I strongly believe that Acquisition University would truly advance their mission: "to make real business education available to everyone."

@Jason Hopkinson I know bro, keep paddling and turn this milk we fell into, into butter. If you do nothing, you will sink. Put in the hours, swim, do something. I believe even flapping about alone will increase your chances of survival. Do something, you will rise to the top, you won’t sink. the cream will rise to the top. Ps. Be lucky 🍀,
👦 “Mum, look 🫵, people!” Said A 1yr Old 🙇‍♀️.
I walked into the library the other day, a young child, probably reading his first book, spotted me and shouted in amazement, “Mum, look, people!” It made me reflect on the magic of discovering new things, especially via books and the excitement they bring, especially when we’re young or new to something. What book first introduced you to entrepreneurship or made you see the world differently? For me, it was How to Win Friends and Influence People. I remember feeling like saying, “This changes everything!” How about you? What was your first book that left a lasting impression?

@Jacques Swanepoel Ok, always wondered where that saying came from. I have heard prime time gurus use it. Unfortunately, I never believed in it. For I know I’m a bit useless, I can’t be the master of my fate. And I also think I’d be useless at captaining my soul. I would not know where to start, so I entrusted an expert to help me navigate. That way I believe I can outwit the devil. Alex Hormozi teaches us to hire trusted / competent experts to help us with things we cannot do. 👍🏾

@Jacques Swanepoel thanks for sharing. Is it good ?. I’m a bit tiptoey when it comes to anything that promises DEEPER, ( think deeper, breath deeper, see deeper, experience deeper, deep fried ) I have seen a lot of strange things, slight of hand etc. in the going DEEPER playing fields. One good example, some lovely fella I know chased DEEPER, the last time I saw him, he was seeing the world through 3 eyes, & he was talking different. Each to their own. Ps. I must be getting soft, don’t mind me. Thanks for your contribution.🙏🏾

🥊🎸”The Main Event” 🎯An Invitation…
In several African countries, meals are structured around what’s known as “The Main Event.” Yes it’s a technical term for this approach to consuming main meals. They’ll start with rice, , fufu / gari, vegetables, and other dishes, all leading up to the grand finale, ( the meat). Yes, they eat the meat last, and it’s a deliberate, celebrated moment. “The main event” This got me thinking. It’s the same approach in boxing: the early fights are just warming up the crowd for, you guessed it, the main event. Comedy nights, music acts, even sermons on the pulpit, I started seeing it everywhere, it’s everywhere. And here’s the thing: this approach creates a sense of tradition, a shared understanding. It’s like a secret handshake, making people feel they belong. As a copywriter, I get it. If you’re not a copywriter, here’s how you can “get it” too:Start hunting for these “secret handshakes,” the lingo, customs, and subtle cues that make people feel part of a group. Every industry, every niche, has its own language. When you discover and use this language, you connect with your audience on a deeper level; you reduce friction and increase relatability. When you meet people where they are, speaking their language and hanging out where they hang out, you don’t stick out like a sore thumb. Instead, your message lands. Done properly, it doesn’t come across as phoney or forced; it feels natural and builds trust. So, what’s your target market’s “secret language”? 🎯I Invite you to a world where we relentlessly search for this, I hope you find one for your target audience. Are you using it to relate? Learning to speak your audience’s language is one of the most powerful tools you can use. The benefits are immense: less resistance, more connection, and a genuine relationship with the people you’re trying to reach. This is a powerful tool; use it for good. Sorry, long post, I hope you enjoyed reading, I certainly enjoyed writing it. Thank you for reading. What’s your target audience’s love language?. Secrets code, secret handshake, have you found it yet ?.

Lessons I’ve Learned from Chris Watters: Building a Legacy in Real Estate and Beyond
In the world of real estate, few names stand out like Chris Watters. He’s not just a visionary entrepreneur but a leader whose approach to business has redefined what’s possible in this industry. For me, his story and strategies have been a masterclass in how to build not just a business, but a legacy. Here are the most impactful lessons I’ve learned from Chris Watters—and how they’ve reshaped my thinking: 1. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 One of Chris’s core teachings is that success isn’t about working harder—it’s about working smarter. He emphasizes the importance of creating systems that don’t just run but thrive without constant oversight. From lead generation to client retention, his approach is about building scalable, repeatable processes. For me, this has been a wake-up call to focus on structure, automation, and optimization. Whether in real estate or other ventures, scalable systems free up your time to focus on growth and innovation. 2. 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙚𝙩: 𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙫𝙨. 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙊𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧 Chris teaches that real estate isn’t about being a great agent—it’s about thinking like a business owner. This shift in mindset changes everything. Instead of being in the trenches of daily tasks, it’s about stepping back to strategize, grow, and lead. I’ve learned that success requires you to delegate, prioritize, and view challenges from a bird’s-eye perspective. You’re not just building a career; you’re building an enterprise. 3. 𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚, 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩 One of the most powerful aspects of Chris’s leadership is his commitment to empowering others. His success is deeply rooted in fostering a team culture where everyone grows together. He doesn’t just hire people—he invests in their potential, providing training, mentorship, and opportunities to succeed. This has inspired me to rethink how I view collaboration. It’s not about finding people to work for you; it’s about creating an ecosystem where everyone works with you toward a shared vision. 4. 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙨, 𝘼𝙙𝙙 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚

❓ How would you structure a curriculum to fulfill the grand vision?
Leila Hormozi envisages an acquisition.com school as part of her grand vision for business education. Consider this goal and propose a structure for a curriculum that aligns with this vision. What key subjects and practical experiences would you include to ensure comprehensive business education? Keep your proposal between 25 to 100 words. Share your curriculum structure in the comments, then interact with fellow students by replying to 2 comments and liking 3 comments that provide novel perspectives. ❓ How would you structure a curriculum to fulfill the grand vision?
@Dinka Salvador I agree with that, it’s a known fact that everyone learns differently and at different pace. This area of study has been studied by scientists, and they have come up with ways to cater for each learning modality. Thank you for your contribution. Do you have any more information you would like to share?. Great contribution this, please share.

Solving Problems Creates Problems — And That’s a Good Thing 👍
🎯 Every solution brings a new challenge. That’s the magic (and frustration) of business and life, according to Alex Hormozi. Let’s break it down: When you’re broke, being broke is your problem. But solve that with income, and hello, tax headaches. Every step forward brings a new issue to tackle — and that’s the game. 🧠 Here’s the business hack: If you know your customer’s journey, you can predict their next problem. Alex Hormozi suggests solving the first few steps for free or low cost, then setting up the next challenge as a paid solution. Think of it as creating a natural progression: 1️⃣ Solve problems 1 and 2 for your customer. 2️⃣ Let them run into problem 3 (because they will). 3️⃣ Be ready with the solution they’ll gladly pay for. This isn’t just about helping — it’s about designing your product suite to meet them where they are, every step of the way. ✨ Pro tip: The best entrepreneurs don’t just solve problems; they anticipate them. So, what’s your step 3? Or better yet, what’s your customer’s?
