Very interesting algorithm jump
My Unity School community went from #3365 to #120. I wonder what it will do tomorrow?

It's a good thing external validation is not a driver for the @Kathryn Mussell I have come to know :-)
Trying something new
Bundled SAAS with Skool Community Buy the tech get community access free. Buy the community and get the tech for free. I need community around the tech anyway so why not provide a blended approach. Will report back on results

nice -- is this for Garys Club or is there a new community? And I'm assuming this is related to social connector?

@Gary Henderson Awesome -- agreed that I wasn't quite seeing the connection within Garys Club, even though it is clearly an example of what is possible.
The one asset in my business I rarely talk about.
Curious to see if anyone else resonates with this and I'd love for you to share with me... Is there something that is so much a part of you and how you operate that you don't think of it as a skillset or talent--it's just WHO you are? For me, that's being an intuitive channel. When I start speaking, teaching, mentoring someone or writing, I start channeling. I wrote three books and created several programs through the process of channeling. In other words, information isn't coming FROM me, it's moving through me. When I was doing hands-on energy healing and hypnotherapy, I talked about it more because it helped me to zero in on client issues almost instantly and my clients wanted to know how I was able to do that. Once I started mentoring and teaching, I talked about it less. I realized that I was attracting a certain kind of client with an attitude of, "Here I am! Fix me!" Not my ideal client since they couldn't quite make the connection that the lasting transformation they were looking for was not in anyone else's hands (or mind) except their own. My intuitive acumen is a tool and an asset, not a fix-all. I honor it, use it all the time, have developed it over the years but it's part of the naturalness of my being and tied to my self-concept more than it is to the worth of my work. What is something that you just DO, is part of how you operate and how you show up every day that's just organic to you AND you also use it in your business?

Hmmmm, I love this invitation. It's interesting how my time connected to nature on the ocean has opened up new channels that have made it easier to embrace feedback I've long received from clients and peers. Foundational to all of that feedback has been an innate ability to connect dots between what others say are seemingly inconsequential details. Doing that with an even deeper connection to universal intelligence (a beautiful by-product of a year at one with nature) is, without a doubt, my ultimate superpower. ps. I want to give a shout-out to @Gary Henderson for the book recommendation, "Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It". This book gave me some new language and perspective on further opportunities for letting go and for decision-making aligned to being the most powerful version of myself. Thank you, @Kathryn Mussell
Is it worth getting uncomfortable for?
One of the first things I ask of the Visionary Entrepreneurs I work with when they tell me of their ambitions is "Is it worth getting uncomfortable for?" In other words, how bad do they want it? I'm not only asking what they are willing to do, but what are they willing to question when it comes to what they think or believe is possible? To what degree are they willing to push past their own self-imposed boundaries? Right now...what do you want to create, to grow, to scale? How uncomfortable are you willing to get in order to do it? What's a HARD NO? (Hint: This will always give you clues about the expansion that lies beyond it.) A good solid WHY behind what you want and why you think you want it is going to come into high contrast here. Visionary Entrepreneurs aren't here for instant gratification or shortcuts. There's an inherent knowing that they're playing the long game, that what they're building pokes the bear of convention and goes against the grain, and has the potential to dissolve old, tired, outmoded systems and structures in order to pave the way for new ones to take hold. They know this takes some patience and a willingness to keep attention FIXED on the preferred outcome and nothing else and it feels crazy and slightly delusional until it doesn't. Not for the faint of heart. Not for those without a big, bold vision. Not for those with fleeting attention spans. And the most successful of that lot who embody the mental fortitude and emotional resilience it takes to see something through the long haul know that the vision has got to be bigger than them. That vision contributes in some way to leaving the world a better place than they found it. They know that their unconventional nature and authentic ability to bob and weave through the slings and arrows of the naysaying normies without losing sight of the bold vision is a GIFT-- not just for their benefit, but for the benefit of birthing something new and fresh that benefits the lives of many, many people and leaves a legacy of light and service to LIFE in its wake.

Nice @Kathryn Mussell ... Unsurprisingly, we dig into similar corners in our coaching work. I also add a practical, but no less challenging question, "What are you willing to give up to have what you say you really want?" I sometimes have to remind them (and myself), we can do it all... but not at the same time :-)
Defining a Community
I am working with the Founding members of my coaching community to powerfully define the community they want to create. One of the members shared a perspective i thought is relevant for leaders in this group. "a community where questions are encouraged and embraced, people are TRULY able to be their authentic selves, and while no one is SELLING, people GIVE freely of their time, their voice, their beliefs, and share both their successes and their lessons learned." As I reflected on this vision, it does relate to the line Sam is trying to walk (perhaps inconsistently) with the Games group. Is this kind of community even possible? SGL isn't that kind of community and that was clearly defined before joining. @Nick Maier T&C group is the closest fit I've seen but I'm not doing much looking around at others groups. Thoughts?

@Kathryn Mussell I've realized through the exchange with the community and this exchange that what the community wants to build isn't interesting to me. A great outcome.

@Brian Campbell thanks, I suppose this is the the beauty and challenge of community leadership. Each person in our community will have their own experience based on the level of consciousness they are bringing to the community. So, our leadership as community leaders is to create some shared agreements, lead by example, and help those falling outside them to recognize their misalignment.
