Defining a Community
I am working with the Founding members of my coaching community to powerfully define the community they want to create. One of the members shared a perspective i thought is relevant for leaders in this group. "a community where questions are encouraged and embraced, people are TRULY able to be their authentic selves, and while no one is SELLING, people GIVE freely of their time, their voice, their beliefs, and share both their successes and their lessons learned." As I reflected on this vision, it does relate to the line Sam is trying to walk (perhaps inconsistently) with the Games group. Is this kind of community even possible? SGL isn't that kind of community and that was clearly defined before joining. @Nick Maier T&C group is the closest fit I've seen but I'm not doing much looking around at others groups. Thoughts?

STOP Posting On Multiple Platforms (it's destroying your marketing)
you've been told to post everywhere ... ... to be omnipresent TO DO MORE TO SHOW UP IN MORE PLACES TO POST MORE CONTENT logically, it makes sense but that's an OLD BELIEF that is actually killing your traffic as in reality 👇 your ENERGY and ATTENTION is being diverted ... and you're just fucking guessing, hoping, and wishing the TRUTH to it is this ... what works for marketing --- especially generating traffic is FOCUSING that amplifies your marketing because all of your energy is directed at it your audience FEELS this it changes the way you show up it changes your content it changes the EXPERIENCE of your audience and that exponentially amplifies any of the marketing you do you can pour EVERYTHING you have into this platform and you're rewarded in getting EVERYTHING back from that platform to make a million dollars, you only need ONE platform the experts know this ... ... as that's where they started they're only on multiple platforms now because they have the leverage needed to be they have the capital to hire the team and they want MORE attention and eyeballs we don't we want the RIGHT EYEBALLS we want them RIGHT NOW we want them to see us EVERY SINGLE TIME they're on the platform to grow your skool to $50k+ MRR you truly only need ONE platform that's how you win because that platform gets ALL of you this is why it's so important to NAIL YOUR NICHE it determines where you show up the choices are: - Facebook - YouTube - Instagram - TikTok - X - LinkedIn skool is a non-negotiable each come with their own pre-requisite TikTok and Instagram can be great for VIEWS ... ... but those views are mainly ENTERTAINMENT views this is why people see their free communities grow so fast from these platforms but they can't convert anyone across to a paid client FUCK THAT I wouldn't waste my time with X unless I was in web3, crypto, or tech LinkedIn is the gold mine if you're going after professionals or want to get hyper-targeting on specific jobs and industries
