Outbound: Tips and experiences
Hey everyone! Wanted to make my first post and ask you all about your experiences with outbound. I'm considering sending connection requests to prospect, and then asking them if they'd like to have a free resource that's valuable in their sector (eCom). Have you guys tried any similar tactic? What's working for you? I also saw the great results from @Dave Miz which seem related to your DM strategy @Tim Keen. I was wondering: Is the part about DM covered in the courses we can find here, Tim? Thank you in advance😊

@Caterina Mariani So it takes lots of time and wasn't worth the amount of sales calls he was booking. The show up rates and closing rates are also dramatic if you only do cold outreach without nurturing the leads properly
I trained an AI to write LinkedIn posts using my style and voice.

I was sending FREE messages to open profile and was booking 3-5 calls per week but now I guess there's a limit to free messages you can send even with premium profile It was personalized message -> free resource -> 15min call but now its only connection request -> nurturing -> 15min call What outreach you find best for LINKEDIN?

That's why an inbound outreach strategy will beat outbound. The platforms are limiting our ability to do cold outreach. It wouldn't suprise me if LinkedIn will have even stricter rules for outreach next year, because the automated DMs are giving the users a negative experience with the platform
How many leads to expect per month?
Hey everyone. I have been a Linkedin content creator for the past 5 years. I have 27k followers and run a marketing agency for course creators. A lot of the people in my audience might not be my ICP. I want to start launching lead magnets (I have a book that I'll start from, then I'll focus on other swipe files/guides). How many leads per month should I expect from that? That depends on lots of factors. I do see that you've got amazing engagement on your posts though! Now the question is: how many of them are your ICP. If the majority of your followers is struggling with the problems your lead magnets will solve, then they will definitely perform very well I think. How many calls you book then from those leads from your lead magnet depends on how well you are at asking the right questions in the DMs and how appealing your value proposition is. But I would say: test it :)
