Identify Unhelpful Content
How could we make a tool to Identify unhelpful content? I'm new and about to get going on making tools here. Currently, I use semrush n what nots to find: Lack of originality: Unhelpful content is often shallow and unoriginal and may regurgitate content from other websites. Lack of depth: Unhelpful content may be one-sided and lack detail. Poor understanding of the topic: Unhelpful content may offer generic advice or superficial coverage of a topic. Spelling and grammatical errors: These mistakes can indicate poor quality and source material. Duplicate content: Two pages that serve the same purpose are duplicates, and it can be harder for them to rank in search results. (this is turning into a big issue with Google and black holes. https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-duplicate-content-black-holes-caused-by-error-pages/534538/ ) Over-optimization for SEO: Content that's overly focused on SEO to the point where it sacrifices readability and user experience. Might be a big one but with HCU being an SEO/ site killer right now I think it might be worth making.

Getting Clients to See the Value in Local SEO
Hello fellow marketers! I’ve been so focused on client work that I’ve neglected growing the SEO side of my own business. Now that I’m diving back in, I’m noticing a lot of resistance to SEO services—particularly Local SEO. I’m targeting service-based businesses (like electricians and plumbers), but despite highlighting the benefits of ranking higher in local searches and attracting nearby customers, I’m struggling to get traction (and struggling to get time in with these busy businesses!). Have you experienced this resistance, and if so, how did you overcome it? Do you have any strategies for getting clients through the door and helping them see the value of Local SEO? Looking forward to learning from your insights!

As an SEO it has been the bane of my career. unfortunately PPC has money for good PR and negative PR for SEO. years ago a PPC person hated SEO and kept up with the instant traffic story. Now that has changed because you need SEO for a site and not just the landing page for PPC, however for SEO google only does page by page and not the site (double standard monopoly) lol My go to was the value of SEO back in 2022 and still valuable today 2024 https://amzn.to/4gCQJJa
Google Image Packs
Does anyone have any good tricks to get images to rank in Google image search results or do all the same rules apply?

anchor text relevancy
Hello everyone, I am looking for a script to test on a large scale the relevance of the text anchors of my site in relation to the target content. I tried with the BERT and cosine similarity algorithms but I did not have a satisfactory result. Bert provide keywords from the scraped content and compare them with the anchor text to test matching with cosine similarity. Does someone has some suggestions ?

From an SEO perspective that works currently. I have noticed the anchor text relevancy is linked to the sentence it sits in semantically. Anchor text relevant to the sentence its sent from and sent to. you would need a tool that takes the keyword or phrase then assess its NLP/ entity relevance to the sentence it starts from and then to the sentence and keyword its going to internal. different rules from outside in to a site because keywords rules are different. box 1 / keyword + intent Box 2 sentence with keyword = give a score and maybe better keywords based on intent Box 3 sentence its linking to = gives reinvent score to new page and maybe page authority traffic juice shared to new page? Please do ask questions because Im an SEO and lack good explaining lol
A New Marketing Funnel for SEO: The Lifecyle Funnel
For years, I've been working using the same funnels that most of us in the SEO and Digital Marketing field know and trust: AIDA - Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action ToFu/MoFu/BoFu - Top of Funnel, Middle of Funnel, Bottom of Funnel. But coming from a traditional marketing background and after a few years of doing this SEO and Internet thing, I realized that these funnels are a bit incomplete. There is more to an internet search than just a step in a direction because people don't search like the funnels suggest. So for a few years now, I've been working on something that I think represents searchers, and more importantly, their intent, a little more realistically than AIDA and TMB funnels. *Note: There is absolutely nothing wrong with following these funnel models and I still recommend understanding and using them. I've called it a very silly name, but it still fits - The SEO Lifecycle Funnel. The basics - Traditional funnels assume a straight path to conversion. The SEO Lifecycle Funnel reflects how people wander. They zigzag, double back, and follow nonlinear, beautifully human journeys. I break it down like this: - Ignorance/Innocence - Awareness/Discovery - Interest/Desire - Consideration - Action/Purpose - Loyalty - Advocacy I've found that people often jump around with their searches. They don’t know what the word is for that thingamajigger under the whatsis, but like all of us, they go online to try to find it. Even experienced search professionals will do this. I do this, and I’ve been typing words into the Google machine for a few years. Think about it: someone frustrated with their laptop isn’t searching for “Wi-Fi adapter driver update” or “network configuration troubleshooting.” They’re typing, “Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting on my laptop.” Or a homeowner hearing water trickling isn’t looking up “flapper valve replacement”; they’re searching, “Toilet keeps running after flushing.” I created a blog post that goes into much more detail and is pretty exhaustive, and if you're interested, you can read more at https://miamiseo.pro/blog/the-seo-lifecycle-funnel/

This is amazing, Thank You. merging this with MR cooks End points are places Google send data between microservices for things like post-ranking feature generation, things like information about queries, the SERP and metrics about sites generated during ranking will be a powerfull tools for us as long as it doesn't become public and Mr patel sells a million people and google kills it dead. lol One thing, I only got half the report as i asked for ToFu, MoFu and BoFu and it just did one. not the end of the world but im woundering if this is me or GPT because its having prompt listening issues today im finding?
