i am in a womens vocal/voice class. i love vocalizing sound. it is also joyful to be around other amazing women. i am wondering about buteyko. i am coming across posts that discredit active breathwork practices, esp wim hoff. what is your take on it?

Wins (Week 2)
I’ve been away in Ireland this week which has thrown me off a lot with routine. However, whilst this would usually cause me to just say fuck it and write the week off, I was still able to do 3x CO2 Performance Retention (Level 2), 2x 30/30/10 and 3x IRV/ERV Stretches I’ve also noticed that with the CO2 performance, the 1 minute holds are getting easier and I reckon in another week or so I will be able to have a go at the level 3

i am doing things to increase joy for me, which can be challenging, as i may not have the energy to execute it. yesterday, i put air in my bike tires and rode to one of the places i work out at, a 45 minute ride, went to a core one pilates fusion class, went for a sea bath at Kits beach (vancouver bc), then rode home. i had an epsom salt bath at home. this is really big for me as i dont have so much cardio capacity, and there is an incline both ways. but the joy factor - wow, so satisfying.

@Rebecca McKee i can appreciate that doing things even a vacation - outside of the usual - can be challenging. wonderful to hear that you went and are feeling renewed interest in travel. i can also relate to that.
