🚀 Short Summary of the Day Today’s coding session took an unexpected turn when a simple UI bug turned into a six-hour debugging marathon! Managed to resolve it and gained a new lesson in tracking down nested layouts. Also mapped out an automated AI feature for my personal platform, enjoyed some Pokémon, and revisited The Equalizer with Queen Latifah for some tech-themed “research.” 😆🐾 📋 Detailed Progress and Achievements • UI Bug Troubleshooting: • What seemed like a quick layout adjustment spiraled into hours of debugging due to a mysterious UI shift that made my changes unresponsive. Turns out, a nested layout file in the parent directory was overriding all my styles, causing the unexpected layout behavior. 😅 • After finally identifying the culprit, I adjusted the directory setup and got everything back on track. Lesson learned: always check for parent layouts in complex structures! • AI Feature Process Mapping: • Drafted a process map for an AI-driven feature I’m developing for my platform, aimed at automating workflows and text generation. • This custom feature is inspired by n8n’s automation flows, but I’m designing it with a more in-house, tailored approach. There’s still a long way to go, but I’m excited about where this could lead for automating various tasks on my platform. 🤖 • Gaming Break: • Spent some time with Pokémon Scarlet, making more progress in the game. It’s been a great way to unwind in between projects. • Series Binge - The Equalizer: • Restarted The Equalizer series for the third time. Robyn McCall’s character, played by Queen Latifah, is amazing, and there’s plenty of tech and hacking action, which counts as “research” in my book! 📺💻 • Evening Routine: • Took my dog for a walk, followed by my daily Spanish and math lessons. • My mum went out for the night, so I had a quiet, relaxing evening with my dog and a bit of downtime. 💭 Final Thoughts Today’s unexpected debugging session was a reminder of how even the simplest issues can derail progress in complex projects. But every challenge is an opportunity to learn! Looking forward to tackling more work over the weekend, feeling a bit more prepared for whatever comes next.

🚀 Short Summary of the Day Today was a slower one, mostly focused on recovering from a delayed hangover 🍻. Started early but needed some painkillers, lots of water, and three coffees to get through it 😅. I managed to work a bit on my Next Auth project, focused on job hunting, and updated my LinkedIn profile. 📋 Detailed Progress and Achievements • Next Auth Project: - Despite low energy, I pushed myself to make some incremental progress on the Next Auth project. I tackled a few key areas and noted down ideas to revisit when I’m feeling better. • Job Search: - I updated my job search criteria as I’m planning to move into my own place by next summer 🌱. This means focusing on roles that align well with my skill set and career growth goals. - Made updates to my LinkedIn profile to highlight my recent projects and skills. - Used job search apps like "Indeed UK Jobs" and "Haystack" to find opportunities fitting my experience and goals. • Daily Learning: - Completed my Spanish 🇪🇸 and Mathematics 📐 lessons, keeping up with my daily challenge. - Took my dog for a walk 🐕 in the evening, which helped clear my head. 🧐 Looking Ahead to Tomorrow • More Work on Next Auth: - Plan to continue where I left off today, focusing on optimizing authentication flows and addressing any remaining issues with provider integration. • Job Search & Applications: - I’ll be submitting applications to a few promising roles I found today and refining my resume to better showcase my work in Next.js, Prisma, and Next Auth. • Portfolio Updates: - Working on adding small projects to my portfolio to highlight specific skills, which will be especially helpful as I pursue new job opportunities. 💭 Final Thoughts Today wasn’t my most productive, but progress is progress, even if it’s small. Looking forward to a fresh start tomorrow and making the most of it!

🚀 Short Summary of the Day Today was a productive day with progress made on debugging console errors in Prisma and exploring new technologies for my platform. Fixed most errors but still tackling a couple related to edge functionality. Took a break to walk my dog, played some Pokémon, and did research on cross-platform desktop development options. 🎮🐾 📋 Detailed Progress and Achievements • Prisma Debugging: - Worked on console errors that emerged after recent updates to my Prisma CRUD functionality. Fixed most, but two errors remain unresolved. - Added Prisma Accelerator, which I mentioned in a previous post. This enables "edge" functionality, allowing serverless global connection pooling and enhanced caching to speed up requests. - The remaining issues are compatibility-related, as edge technology sometimes conflicts with other packages. Navigating this carefully to retain the current functionality and aesthetic appeal. • Gaming and Relaxation: - Took my dog for a walk 🐕, then relaxed with some gaming (Pokémon on the Switch). I've noticed that gaming is great for unwinding and re-centering my focus. • Research on Cross-Platform Development: - Did some reading on Next.js 15, as well as comparisons between Electron JS and Python for cross-platform desktop apps. - Currently building the desktop app using C# WPF, which is excellent for Windows. However, I also use a Linux laptop and want a way to access my platform without relying on the web interface. Building across platforms enhances my dev skills and strengthens my portfolio as I continue my job search. • Daily Learning: - Completed my Spanish 🇪🇸 and Mathematics 📐 lessons a bit later than usual to wrap up the day. 🧐 Looking Ahead to Tomorrow • Prisma Debugging Continued: - Tomorrow, I’ll focus on resolving the remaining two console errors and testing the edge functionality’s compatibility to ensure stability. • Portfolio and Job Search: - Planning to add new projects to my portfolio, including documentation on my cross-platform app approach, to make a strong impression in job applications.
