Monday, 18 November - Day 3 of 75
🚀 Short Summary of the Day Despite battling IBS pain and spending most of the day in bed, I managed to make progress on several fronts, including a video call with a recruiter, applying for a job, and enhancing my personal platform with real-time database functionality using Appwrite. Plus, I reflected on how this amazing community has boosted my confidence to tackle new challenges! 👨🏻💻💪 📋 Detailed Progress and Achievements Recruiter Call and Job Application: • Had a video call with a recruiter and applied for a job today. • It’s been a long time since I pursued a “proper job,” having focused on solo projects for years. While I’m keeping my expectations realistic, just taking this step feels like a victory. • Working solo has its challenges, especially in terms of maintaining productivity and quality, but the confidence I’ve gained from this community has been a game-changer. Thanks to everyone here for inspiring me to take this leap! 🌟👏 Personal Platform Updates: • Began integrating real-time database functionality into my personal platform using Appwrite and WebSockets. • Decided to use Appwrite as my primary database, with plans to integrate other databases on demand via my custom “database adapter.” • This new functionality will allow for more dynamic interactions within the platform and improve its scalability for future features. Portfolio Site Deployment: • Finalized plans to deploy my new portfolio site tomorrow. This will serve as a hub for recruiters, employers, and clients to view my work. Hoping it helps open doors for new opportunities! 🌐🎨 Coaching Call Resources: • Started organizing and preparing resources from my recent coaching call. These will be added to tomorrow’s post, so stay tuned for those if you’re interested in learning more about the techniques we covered! 📚 💭 Final Thoughts Today wasn’t easy, but I’m proud of what I managed to accomplish despite the challenges. Taking steps toward a new job and improving my platform feels like progress, even on a tough day. I’m incredibly grateful for this community and the encouragement it provides—none of this would have been possible without it. Here’s to better health and more wins tomorrow! 🌟
