Things nobody tells you about getting in shape as a wheelchair user
The bad:
❌️ Our nutrition needs are very different to able bodied people.
❌️ Fad diets aren't just ineffective - they can wreak havoc.
❌️ Injury prevention takes on an increased importance.
❌️ Gym equipment isn't designed with us in mind.
❌️ Not many gyms are accessible.
The good:
✅️ The increased strength & independence is life changing.
✅️ Less digestion issues & other health problems.
✅️ Strong shoulders last longer than weak ones.
✅️ Confidence shoots through the roof!
😍 + Looking sexy AF!
Verdict?
It ain't easy, but it's so worth it!
