New Channel or Clean up Old one?
so I have a YouTube channel that I’ve had for over 10 years, but I haven’t posted consistently. The channel had a mix of random videos (like car and lifestyle content which u made unlisted) and over 500 subscribers (random subs not in my current niche). When you Google my name, the channel pops up, which seems good for overall SEO?
I’m about to start posting consistently with a new focus on online business and community building but I’m not sure if it’s better to continue using my existing channel or start fresh with a new one. Would the algorithm work in my favor on a new channel with consistent uploads and a clear niche, or is it ok to rebrand my current channel and being consistent there will be enough to get in the algorithm flow?
