Todays struggle
With family being home. I’m wimping out On my video goal that involves me in the kitchen. However I know I need to get this segment done before new years. I just need a little positive perspective and remember this is my goal- and what’s making my future. So I need to step out even if it’s uncomfortable.

@Chad Tabary thank you for this advice! Do you do long form as well? I used to do a lot of short form for TikTok. But I’m moving over to YouTube - preferably long form content.

@Chad Tabary that’s awesome! Glad to hear you will be focusing on more of what you want to do!

@Dakota Grady I guess you would consider it blogging. But in hopes to educate people.

@Dakota Grady I may do that in some videos. However, it’s more of self development vlogging
New Channel or Clean up Old one?
@Omar El-Takrori so I have a YouTube channel that I’ve had for over 10 years, but I haven’t posted consistently. The channel had a mix of random videos (like car and lifestyle content which u made unlisted) and over 500 subscribers (random subs not in my current niche). When you Google my name, the channel pops up, which seems good for overall SEO? I’m about to start posting consistently with a new focus on online business and community building but I’m not sure if it’s better to continue using my existing channel or start fresh with a new one. Would the algorithm work in my favor on a new channel with consistent uploads and a clear niche, or is it ok to rebrand my current channel and being consistent there will be enough to get in the algorithm flow? @Chaz Bademan I recall watching a video that expressed that the algorithm wants to provide whatever the audience is looking for. So as long as you upload correctly, terms etc. giving it the best chance of reaching the audience. For example: how to change a tire. Doesn’t matter what your channel originally is about. As long as the info you provided to the algorithm is enough to reach the target.

Another example: someone niche could be about cooking. But then they upload a video about - how much YouTube paid me… I see this all the time! Completely unrelated to the niche.
Advice for launching my dentistry course
Hello, Im looking to create and launch an online course for my niche of general dentists to help them restore implant crowns. I am working on growing my instagram page. What is the best platform to grow /sell this type of educational course? Also I am new to creating shorts / reels. Does anyone have recommendations on how to learn this? Thank you !

What are you planning to use to create online courses? I think this is a great idea! I have invested in some courses for shorts. Try Skillshare, Domestika.

@Farhana Khan I’m looking into what you shared as well. Thank you 😊
Help with thumbs and titles
Hey Guys. Been on a journey of personal brand. Loving it. We filmed one of our challenges recently and we made a VLOG with the BTS and it looks really cool. The video is shot by my videographer telling the story behind why we shot 30 days worth in one day and what we learned. It finishes with our desire to be authentic and a few lessons we learned. I've designed the thumbs to be tested as attached and I'm juggling titles. I would love to have at least 10 votes on it to get an idea of how you guys think. I'll let you discern the titles but one is made with the intention of affirming what we have done, the other is to instigate curiosity on "how we actually managed to do that" and the other is listical, providing three main lessons (whoich are shared at the end). It's a 5 minute video. Pretty short. Please let me know: Thank you.
