for most people, yes! consuming excessive amounts of carbohydrates leads to chronic inflammation which leads to illness and disease.
So, how much is too much?
I recommend keeping your gross carbohydrates (not subtracting out fiber) less than 100 grams per day. Some will need to be even less than that. I consume about 14 grams of carbs a day.
Find your number and stick with it... you will feel better and regardless of what you have going on in your body, you will see improvement. One important note - you have to stick with it for minimum of 90 days, no exception.
