💎 Creating a Brand Story that Resonates with Your Tiny Tribe🪶
🗣️ Excerpt from the upcoming course: "The Science of Client Attraction for Tiny Tribes🪶" 📙 Humans are hardwired for stories. A compelling brand story can turn casual observers into loyal tribe members. A compelling brand story allows you to: ⚡️Stand out in a crowded marketplace ⚡️Build emotional connections with potential clients ⚡️Communicate your value proposition clearly and effectively ⚡️Attract clients who are the best fit for your unique offerings The key to crafting your brand story is to keep it from becoming a distraction. In this scenario, no one wants to read a novel. Keep it clear and concise and move the reader forward. Your brand story should explain: ▶️ Why you started your business ▶️ The challenges you've overcome ▶️ The transformation you offer clients Critical elements of a powerful brand story: ✅ Authenticity: Be genuine and vulnerable ✅ Conflict and resolution: Show how you've overcome obstacles ✅ Emotional connection: Tap into the feelings that drive your clients 👉🏻 Remember, your story isn't just about you—it's about how your journey enables you to serve your clients better. 👨🏼‍🏫 Exercise: Write a short brand story using the classic hero's journey structure. Start with your call to adventure (why you started), describe the challenges you faced on your journey and the steps you took to overcome them and conclude with how these experiences shaped your ability to help clients. ---------------------------------------------------------- 🪶Questions for Discussion/Comment: 1. Have you written out a brand story for your business/Substack? 2. If yes, how do you communicate it to your readers?

💎 Creating a Brand Story that Resonates with Your Tiny Tribe🪶
💎 When You're At the Crossroads, Where Do You Turn?
Recently, a community member wrote to me asking for my advice about what kind of business he should pursue. A couple of responses came to mind. First, when someone is at a crossroads in their career, it's an exciting time (even if it doesn't feel that way). It's a sign that a positive shift is taking place. Second, the free course *Get Paid To Be You* in the Classroom tab is a six-lesson mini-course that condensed my 72-page eBook, ⭐️Tiny Little Empire: How To Build a One-Person Subscription-Based Business Based on What You Already Know⭐️ into digestible bites that will help clarify a direction for you. For those who long to be a writer, even though it's a bit pricey at $97, I'd recommend purchasing Tiny Little Empire. Indeed, please read through the free course first as I condensed it into a free six-lesson mini-course to provide the main ideas behind the eBook. The full version of the eBook will give you much more. I recommend this because starting with what you already know is the best place to begin. Teaching what you know is a perfect starting point in online business. Plus, online teaching can be very financially rewarding. I believe everyone, whether acquired through education, career, or specialized training, has several areas of expertise that I call *Authority Topics.* The eBook shows you how to uncover, package, and market your authority topics into courses you can write about, sell, and form an online business around. If this sounds like you, check out the free course GET PAID TO BE YOU here, and then get the eBook, Tiny Little Empire here!

💎 3 Reasons to Remind Your Readers/Clients of Their Problems
"Yikes, Baz! I'm all about solutions, man!" Yeah, yeah... I know. We all have solutions and processes. But solutions don't grab a reader's/client's attention like a problem does. Problems are like big, fat, juicy steaks on a grill 🥩 —you can't help but notice them if you're nearby. THREE REASONS TO REMIND YOUR CLIENTS OF THEIR PROBLEMS 1️⃣ PAIN ALWAYS SEEKS RELIEF. If a client still has a problem but hasn't achieved relief, she's still looking for a solution. Reminding her of the problem puts her in solution-seeking mode. 2️⃣ PROBLEMS PROMOTE PURCHASING. All you did was remind your client of her problem. Look what happened; she's suddenly in solution-seeking mode. She's like a hand-cranked water pump that's been primed and is ready to bring water from the well. She's prepared for a solution. 3️⃣ SOLVE ONE PROBLEM & ANOTHER POPS UP. You don't have to create 1,000 different solutions to 1,000 problems. That would be exhausting. Instead, base your offers around one particular solution category (one-to-one assistance, group masterclasses, public workshops) that addresses the problems. You can base your prices on the amount of access your client enjoys. ~Baz P.S. Which gets your IMMEDIATE ATTENTION in your rearview mirror? A. 👩‍🦰 B. 👨‍🦱 C. 🚨 (It's always the problem)

💎 No One is Immune to Imposter Syndrome
🧠 Not even brain surgeons....if you asked them to knit a scarf. Huh? (See the link at the bottom for the full post on Substack) Not long ago, I finished a 12-page Special Report to accompany a workshop planned for July. 🙅🏼‍♂️ IMPOSTER SYNDROME REARS ITS HEAD...AGAIN Although I’ve been writing and publishing for years, I still felt paralyzed about releasing my work to the public. It happens every single time. ⛑️ What’s the treatment for Imposter Syndrome? 1️⃣ The first option is always to do nothing. But, by doing nothing, nothing changes. You’ll still feel the paralysis and the lack of confidence. The imposter syndrome will overtake you and prevent you from moving forward. To switch metaphors, you’ll be treading water, and you’ll be exhausted and then slowly sink. 2️⃣ The second and only remaining option is to ACT. If you don’t act despite feeling like an imposter, you will succumb to option number 1. Longer post on Tiny Tribes🪶
