What are the important things?

So last night, someone very close told me that the tasks I do are not important. These were the tasks in question.

I drove 1.5 hours last week to watch my son represent his university at a sports competition.

Then I took my other son to take a tour of a university he’s interested in and submit some documents they needed with regards to his university offer. This also involved an hour of driving and an hour back.

Unimportant tasks? I don’t think so. Rather I think it’s very important to cheer and support my child and to give my other child an opportunity to see where he may spend the next 6 years.

Don’t let anyone tell you what’s important and what’s not. They don’t see the world like you do.
