This is the weekly check-in for families on our Year 4 and Year 5 Learning Journey programme with a reminder of important dates and events for the week.

I hope your children joined Sunday's lesson. The recordings are in the Classroom in the Year 4/5

Learning Vaults. Extra work has been set on your child's atom enterprise account.

🌟Holiday period announcements: We are gifting all the children in our programmes a copy of 'The 11+ Journal'. I have emailed all of you to send me your address for us to send the journal. We have also arranged for a short break in lessons and the email includes the dates for that too.

🌟Extra work

I have uploaded extra work for Similies and Metaphors for Year 4s. It is in the learning vault under the worksheets for the topic. I hope it helps!

We will be uploading extra worksheets for all topics so your child has some work to do in the holidays plus there will be work on Atom Enterprise too!

🌟A Q&A session in December!

I will be hosting a session for you to go over how you can revise things already learnt, how to structure a timetable for the holidays and to answer any questions you may have. Stay tuned for the date.

🌟Replays and docs:

Vocabulary Challenge replays and accompanying documents are now in the Vocabulary Mastery course in the Classroom. The 'Bringing Words to Life' educator session replay and the documents including 'contranyms.' are in the Learning Vault of your child's year group.

🌟Extra practice

Questions will be on your child's Atom account. Please refer to the emails for activation. New activities have been set for the class after Sunday's class.

Those with a subscription, go through topics taught last week so learning is re-inforced.

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

1️⃣Children must have their worksheets printed out and ready (or open on a tab in front of them) before the lesson every week.

2️⃣Children must have their own names on the screen and not the names of their parents in each lesson.
