Struggling with Sleep? You’re Not Alone—Let’s Find What Really Works Together
Hey everyone, If you’ve been struggling with sleep, you’re definitely not alone. So many of us with ADHD have been there—lying awake at night, unable to shut off our brains, and waking up feeling exhausted. I’ve tried all the generic tips, and I’m sure you have too. They just don’t seem to work for us, right? Here’s something that has helped me and many others in this community: Brain dumps. Before bed, try writing down everything that’s on your mind. This simple technique helps to clear your head and reduce those racing thoughts that keep you awake. Another tip that’s made a big difference for me is creating a sleep-friendly environment. Using a weighted blanket has been a game-changer in helping to calm my senses before sleep. If you’re looking for more tips like these, you’re in the right place. Let’s share what works and support each other. We’re in this together!

hi
- Make a plan. - Say no to distractions. - Do all priorities first. - Be productive. - Choose priorities. - Say no to games and distractions. - Make a plan for the month (depending on the period). - Time is precious. - Focus. - Organize your time. - Eliminate distractions and work. - Start with difficult tasks. - Say your tasks out loud and organize everything in your imagination. - Imagine the process of every task. - Sleep early. - Observe your ideas. - If you find a task difficult, don’t skip it; just face it and try to find a solution.

Hi
Hi, I am Rabha, 31 years old, and I struggle with ADHD. I can't find medicine in my country. Here are some strategies that I need to practice in my life: 1. Try again and again. If you want to learn something, you have to put in much more effort than normal people. 2. Imagine the task in your mind with all the details and write a plan on paper. 3. You are slow in making decisions, so you need to think many times before making one. 4. Organizing and cleaning your house helps to organize the chaos in your mind. 5. Force yourself to work slowly to avoid mistakes. 6. If you notice noise inside your brain, listen to brown noise. 7. Recharge your energy when you feel depressed by praying to God. 8. Don’t eat a lot and never eat sugary sweets, because too much food takes too much energy for digestion. 9. Say "shut up" to the voice inside you that gives you negative ideas. 10. Set ten tasks to do each day.
