What if… Instead of asking what if my kid quits? What if my kid doesn’t make it, what if they get bored? Why not play the same game, in the positive🙏 What if my child gains new friendships through the classes that last a generation? What if my child makes it to black belt and gains confidence that carries them to that great job or opportunity ? What if my kid learns self defense that protects them that one time ? What if my kid does learn the skills to get on stage and has a small part in influencing all of the nation to foster that in other kids… what if🤔

Yesterday, working with a client on location, it completely was a present reminder that setting a goal and a target and then having the discipline to stay focused on with consistency is one of the biggest differentiators from successful people and the ones that wish to have success. Why aren’t we better about this? Without a target, you get exactly what you aim for — nothing. If you don’t set goals, you allow confusion, misalignment, and the agendas of others to take over. Whether it’s on classroom floor, in business , or life, a clear target is the difference between failure and success. When you know what you’re striving for, everything starts aligning in your favor — your time, energy, and actions. Set goals with intention. Every class should have a goal for both the student and teacher. Every business milestone should have a target. Every appointment should be purposeful towards a goal . Remember, aim for nothing, and that’s exactly what you’ll get. Setting Targets: Setting a clear target is the first step to achievement. In class, for example, students perform best when they know the goal for the session. Is it mastering a specific kick? Sharpening footwork? They need something to aim for, something tangible. The same applies to your business. Without clear sales targets, team alignment fades, and your days drift aimlessly. If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you’ve arrived? Without a set goal, confusion and disarray take root, leading to failure. Confusion leads to failure! When you set precise goals — in class, business, or your schedule — every action is guided with purpose. Set your targets now and start aiming for success. LFG… what’s your goal for today? Rise Forward

Influence Marketing for martial arts
Well… here’s update In our meeting, we focused on powerful strategies to grow your martial arts school by building partnerships, marketing effectively, and leveraging influencers to promote your programs. Here’s a breakdown of key takeaways and next steps for you as a martial arts school owner. Key Highlights: • Demonstrate Value: Focus on proving your worth to potential partners before forming a relationship. Build trust through bettering your classes everyday! Progress must be shown! • Understand Your Perfect Customer: Targeting the right audience is critical. Wasting time, money, and energy on the wrong customers won’t lead to success. Find influencers in your local community who align with your perfect customer profile. • Marketing vs Advertising: Know the difference. Marketing puts you in control of the message; advertising pays to distribute that message. Focus on marketing strategies that allow for greater consistency and control. • Leverage Influencers: Connecting with key influencers who can promote your martial arts school to their followers is crucial. Just like Michael Jordan and Nike, having someone else endorse your business can change the game. • Social Media Power: Use visual content (pictures and videos) of your classes and students, and post on social media every day. Encourage your students and their parents to share their experiences with your school. Next Steps: 1. Find Local Influencers: Research and identify key influencers in your area who align with your perfect customer profile. 2. Ask for Referrals: Every time you meet a new student, ask who they know that might also be interested in martial arts training. Always or nevers ?!?! Which is it? 3. Daily Engagement: Talk to your students and parents daily about their jobs and hobbies. You might discover influencers within your own community. 4. Post Daily on Social Media: Create and share content every day. Ask your students and their parents to take pictures and post about their experience at your school.

Staff development
The weaker the teacher, the stronger the student must become. Employees aren’t incompetent—they’re following the training they’ve received, whether from you or from their previous job. If their behavior hasn’t changed, it’s a reflection of your effectiveness as a leader. Identify the behaviors you want to see more of, even the small ones—showing up early, staying late, helping a team member. As soon as you notice these behaviors, reinforce them right away. Make sure they know you’ve noticed.
