The weaker the teacher, the stronger the student must become.
Employees aren鈥檛 incompetent鈥攖hey鈥檙e following the training they鈥檝e received, whether from you or from their previous job. If their behavior hasn鈥檛 changed, it鈥檚 a reflection of your effectiveness as a leader.
Identify the behaviors you want to see more of, even the small ones鈥攕howing up early, staying late, helping a team member.
As soon as you notice these behaviors, reinforce them right away. Make sure they know you鈥檝e noticed.
