Anxiety...The Problem That's Crippling You—and How to Break Free
Ever felt anxious before? You know, that inner feeling of worry, fear and uneasiness? Well if it's a frequent occurrence for you, then you probably know exactly what I'm talking about. If you carry on reading this post I'll tell you how to identify and get rid of it so you don't have to suffer with it ever again. First of all, you need to think about when you're feeling anxious. Is it in a specific situation or with a specific person etc? Once you figure that out then think about why you feel anxious then. Analyze your thoughts. Are these thoughts correct? Or are they negative thoughts that you can ignore and not worry about. Really think deeply about this. Sit down for as long you need and don't rush this step. You could even do this with someone close to you as they would help you with this After you've done that, you need to think about your solution. It might be that you need to stop going to a certain place or not be with a certain individual. Or you might need to work on your thoughts and become more aware of them so you're able to have greater control over them. Ultimately the main root of this and many other mental issues is mind control. Its not other people or thoughts controlling your mind. But you. Yes YOU, having full consciousness and awareness of that brain of yours. (I believe the topic of consciousness deserves a post of its own so keep a look out as I'll be posting later on today about it.) So take hold of your mind and use it to push yourself to the best of your ability! I'd like to know how often you guys experience anxiety? Vote in the poll down below!

How my anxiety started. (My Story)
If you have ever heard of the term "Canon Event", you will definitely see what I mean when I say that this was my canon event. To keep it simple, a canon event is an event in one's life where in the matter of 1 day, your life changes drastically. For me, it was almost 2 years ago. I was in lake tahoe for some snowboarding with my buddies. On the drive back to the cabin (almost an hour away from the slopes) I hit a pothole and had a tire blow out. Now this wouldn't be much of an issue since I had a spare. However we lacked the proper tools to change out the tire and were left stranded on the side of the road in the dark of night, middle of nowhere, with no cell service. That is when my panic began to set in. Luckily after about 5 hours and the help of some locals, we got ahold of AAA to tow the car to a nearby tire shop. Unfortunately for me, the deep anxious panic feeling (like an elephant sitting on my chest) didn't go away for months... Until I got in touch with Dr. Michelle, she taught me everything I needed to know about how to overcome this anxiety I was feeling, including techniques like breathing methods and affirmations to calm the noise in my brain. And that is just a small bit of what she did to help. I am thankful for her guidance in my mental health journey and I encourage anyone who is seriously struggling to seek further coaching. Thank you Dr. Michelle! I am also a member of her premium group, "Rise Above! Premium." So if you are interested in a more in depth coaching program, Ill attach a link to this post so you can learn more and get started today.
