Templates vs. Sell Similar

As I narrow my purchases to high STR items I notice that I am buying a lot of the same items, just different sizes and colors. Because of this I am beginning to have a library of templates. This allows me to load the new pictures and fill in a few blank fields to have a complete listing.

Curious how you guys are handling similar/identical items. Are you using templates or looking up items and using the Sell Similar feature and why?
