Ever feel like your business is all work and no play?
A couple months back I was thinking about what I could do to avoid getting hyper focused on a task.
My obsessing and frustration had taken what should have been a 15 minute task and turned it into over an hour and I still wasn’t done.
I finally gave up and left my home office to go for a walk with my wife and kids. Just a few minutes into the walk and the answer came to me! I made a quick voice memo and continued the walk.
Just like any area of life, sometimes the answers can be too hard to see when we aren’t enjoying ourselves.
Stepping back and having a moment of productive distraction can actually boost morale, creativity, and can lead to unexpected breakthroughs.
