Activate measurement with a Google Tag (???)

Hey Guys! I'm just creating a brand-new account for a client, and this is what I got from Google. They tell me to "Activate measurement with a Google Tag" by pasting a specific tag in the CMS (Google Ads tag, not a GTM tag).

All my conversions are tracked via Google Tag Manager, and they have been tested and seem to be working fine. To make things more interesting, I added this tag as they requested, but the notification is still there and Google claims that the tag is not installed. Tag Assistant is working ok, I just checked.

Should I worry about this or just discard it since GTM is integrated with the website?

My other accounts don't have such a notification; I'm wondering if this is a new thing 🤔
