Google Ads Conversion Tag Firing Failed
Hi Guys, I'm desperate, please, any suggestions are welcome :) Around early December 2024, something happened with Google Tag Manager. Now, Google Ads conversion actions show the "failed" status even though the tag fires in theory. Take a look at the screen; the same conversion event fires in GA4 but fails in GTM. I checked almost everything there is to check: 1. GTM works and is integrated with the website correctly 2. Incognito mode, different browsers tested 3. No additional consent required checked in the tag settings 4. Triggers are ok 5. Conversion ID and label are the same as in GAds 6. GAds tag installed in GTM Up until a few days ago, I thought this was a cookie banner issue, but now I'm experiencing this issue with a website that doesn't have a cookie banner yet. Plus, this conversion action has been working fine up until very recently, I didn't change anything in the tag or website settings. 2 more observations: 1. When I test this event in GTM Assistant in a different browser, at first, it fires correctly, but the second attempt results in the failed status 2. GAds seem to be counting these conversions either way, but I'm afraid that it can adversely affect the counting at some point. I did some research (actually, a lot of research...) and I found this thread: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/thread/311624206/help-needed-google-ads-conversion-tag-firing-failed?msgid=314381661 I have the exact same problem, 44 people voted they have the same question, and all the replies are like "me, too!". No one seems to know the reason, let alone the solution... Is there any chance any of you have encountered this issue and know how to fix it? Or should I move with conversion tracking entirely to GA4...? Thanks in advance! Mike

@Md Shakil Ahmed Samim Very interesting, I will definitely try this option! Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea why this solution might work?

@Md Shakil Ahmed Samim gotcha, thank you!
No keyword impressions showing
I have a few different ad accounts that show 0 impressions for keywords, and when I look at search terms, nothing is there either. I can see impressions in the campaign overview, but nothing shows for keywords. How can I fix this?

This may be silly, but what date range do you have in the keyword view? Make sure it's updated, I'd start there.
Unable to conduct keyword research for mental-health related queries
Hello, I'm looking for your support with the issue I experienced earlier today. We're running Google Ads for some therapy practices and I was trying to do a short keyword research using the Keyword Planner. I've done it dozens of times before and never had any problems (with some very rare exceptions such as "youth therapy"). Now, though, almost all mental-health-related keywords are blocked. And I mean even more general ones, including CBT, EMDR, family counseling, etc. Additionally, we're experiencing problems with adding new mental-health-related keywords to the account. Thankfully, FOR NOW, requesting an exception gets the job done, but I'm wondering for how long? Is Google changing anything about their mental health related policies? I checked this link and didn't find anything. Should I be worried that we won't be able to run ads for therapy clients soon? And what about keyword research? How can I do it when the keyword planner does not let me do almost anything? :(

Activate measurement with a Google Tag (???)
Hey Guys! I'm just creating a brand-new account for a client, and this is what I got from Google. They tell me to "Activate measurement with a Google Tag" by pasting a specific tag in the CMS (Google Ads tag, not a GTM tag). All my conversions are tracked via Google Tag Manager, and they have been tested and seem to be working fine. To make things more interesting, I added this tag as they requested, but the notification is still there and Google claims that the tag is not installed. Tag Assistant is working ok, I just checked. Should I worry about this or just discard it since GTM is integrated with the website? My other accounts don't have such a notification; I'm wondering if this is a new thing 🤔

Ad Groups structuring
Hey everyone, I am from Czech, I am beginner to Google Ads and I have problem with structuring Ad Groups. We are building houses. Which means that the phrases that people type into the search engine always contain the keyword - houses, bungalow and storey house - and something else - price, layout, shape.... Should I have a separate campaign for each type of house and then ad groups (campaign: bungalow; ad groups: price, layout, shape...) or mix bungalows with storey houses (campaign: types; ad groups: price, layout, shape... also with the keywords bungalow, houses, storey house) ? I hope it's understandable. Thank you Btw Austin, I love your content and I am grateful that someone on youtube is making such valuable content without selling bullshit courses.

@Austin LeClear Do you agree? I have a similar question. 2 different services (with a broad common denominator) and a small budget - better to put them under 1 campaign and create 2 ad groups, or create 2 campaigns? The budget may not be enough to split it in half and get 10 clicks per day, though...
