Building a Monetised Podcast with Spotify for Creators from scratch 🚀
Hey Pod Schoolers,
Will you watch as and I document building a monetised show from scratch⁉️
Ok, not from total scratch, but pretty close as we are only 3 weeks in!
So, because of all the new tools that Spotify have announced that they are creating in the last few weeks, Alex and I are going to test how podcasters can leverage the systems and processes in order to create monetisable value, in real-time.
And we are going to document the whole thing, step by step.
We know, from asking you guys that there are two major elements of support you are looking for:
1)How to launch a show
and then
2) How to generate revenue from it!
So we are going to switch our new(ish) podcast from our existing provider to Spotify to see fast we can build an audience and then revenue by leveraging Spotify for Creators.
We are going to explore its full potential for audience growth, video integration, and monetisation. With Spotify's innovative tools and its beta-tested course functionality rolling out in the UK, this is the perfect time to dive in and share the entire process in real-time.
Every step—setting up account, switching from our current provider, starting to upload video and audio, hitting the deliverables needed to enter the 'Partner Programme', audience building, and monetisation—will be documented transparently, providing invaluable insights and actionable strategies for anyone looking to turn their podcast into a thriving platform and revenue stream.
So, that's the idea, but - before we give ourselves another load of work to do - we need to know that it is actually something of interest for you guys... so vote below ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️
