Holiday season
As thanksgiving, Xmas, and new years celebration approaches here is a tip/challenge that will get you going if you’re planning to compete next year. This is something I’ve done multiple times. Pretend you’re already prepping for a show and limit the consumption of holiday’s food. When I did it, I told myself “if I can say no to all these deliciousness, I can certainly remain on track while prepping”. Remember, is about doing work while others are not.

Food Pushers’ Motives ?
I recently started a new job and have only told two colleagues about the significant amount of weight I’ve lost over the past 3 months and my goal to step onstage for a bodybuilding show in May to show off my transformation in a dress. At a recent work event, I brought my own food and stayed on track, but those two colleagues kept pushing me to eat junk food and drink alcohol. They even seemed disappointed when I stuck to my plan and drank water instead. I left feeling proud of myself, but I’m curious—why do you think people try to pull you away from your goals, even when they know how important it is to you? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

Anxiety, performance and visualization
Anxiety many times prior to an event has made many of us play bellow our ability. Uncertainty can cause athletes to mentally envision mistakes and fear the worst prior to a competition, which leads to lack of trust in your skills. Fearing the worst, becomes negative images that will ruin performance every time. The solution could be visualization. Experience the event before it happens. This could help being ready mentaly. By visualizing yourself there succeeding, you become mentaly ready because know the event is already known. As i am competing in two weeks, I want to make a habbit of visualizing my self getting there, weighing in, having my warm up, to the point of hitting the numbers i want to achieve. Imagine my self being in a good mood and following my routine. The visualization will provide a plan. So everything will be ready when the time comes. My mind will not freak out by the unknown. Let me hear your thoughts and your experiences. Do you have some kind of routine to mentaly prepare you? ☺️

Inner Child - Playing as adults
We are encouraged to play a lot as children but do majority of us play as adults? I'm not meaning gaming either but this can be on a playground, playing with toys, doing things that we would play with as children. Dont be shy, we all reconnect and reminsce with things that bring us joy back when we were kids, so why stop? You might even be able to relive this through watching a show you used to as a kid or playing with kids and doing the things you did back then. Be silly, have fun as you would as a kid and play with your inner child. It's a beautiful feeling when you do. Feel free to share your activities that inspired you as a kid here 😁

Live with purpose
Happy Monday! 🎉 Let’s chat about what really matters... To live a meaningful life, you’ve got to figure out what’s most important to you. It’s easy to get comfortable in the moment, but real fulfillment comes from chasing something bigger. Take some time to think about what gives your life meaning, and then go after it with purpose. It won’t always be smooth sailing, but that’s what makes life rich and worth it. Don’t just talk about what matters—live it out. When you do, you’ll find a deeper satisfaction that sticks with you. Have an awesome week ahead!
