Day 4 & 5 Update
So day 4 was REALLY SLOW for me. I was hitting road blocks in terms of getting suppliers on the line and receiving those quotes. I was trying out new FSC codes as well to see what sticks with me. One of the things is most important in finding a product is how easy it is to get quotes for said product. A lot of the products you can get off-the-shelf don't have enough solicitations on DIBBS to get pump out 20 bids a day. That being said, Day 5 was amazing for me. I found a company that lists a lot of the products Im looking for on their website. I filtered by that company's CAGE code on DIBBS and have been pumping through every single solicitation where they are the approved source. Doing this process has finally gotten me to 25+ BIDS A DAY!!!!! Lastly, I learned that solicitations that are past their due date but still considered "Open for Bidding" are there because nobody has bid on them yet. Keeping that in mind, I am going to start applying to a lot of past due solicitations as there is no competition on them. See y'all next week!
