welcome
question on pricing and time of delivery to dla and vendor shiiping to dla
Hello everyone Just asking for some feedback on a few things 1 If the quote I am getting from the approved source is coming out higher but they don't bid on the contract. Should I put the bid in anyway since its a few months old. Do I get penalized if my quote is higher than what. The government paid before. 2 If the delivery time on the product to my warehouse is longer, Than the delivery time they are asking for. Is it a problem that I make the time to fulfill longer than what they are asking for. When I place the bid? 3 If the approved source has a cage but does not bid on the contract. Is it wise to ask if they can ship it into the DLA or would they jump on the contract?

Locked Dibbs Account
Has anyone dealt with a locked Dibbs account? What were your experiences like in getting it unlocked? Was it simple?

@Sherrie Gomez not everyday but in the beginning I thought you had to log in to see the paperwork. Now for the past few weeks. Been learning the do’s and don't. That was a scary lesson 1 2 weeks into having my account with DLA

@Rudy Cadena that is very true. After I lost access I emailed them. Explained what happened and asked for forgiveness. After a few emails back and forth. They let me back in after signing a document. Never to access dibs outside of USA
First win🍾

Congratulations
got a response from vendor
Starting sending out quote requests on Friday. Got my first answer back. Took a chance saw that source had won on a contract before. Price came in much higher than it had been before. My question is last time vendor filled the contract was 2023. Should I still put the bid in but this time with a higher price and just see what happens?

Thank you Carlin I will. I did take the time to get the quote. Also if we don't win it harms no one.
