DII Golfer - Seeing NIL Success
Attached is a great article talking about student-athletes at the DII level, making money through NIL. One of the inserts is highlighted below: "Miller reached out to companies, saying he was a former DI golfer, offering to create videos to help sell products. His Instagram following was between 5,000-6,000 when he started. He was able to build a portfolio, which made him more appealing to other companies, and NIL business grew. He now has 8,700 followers and about 30 NIL deals." .... This is a PERFECT way to pursue deals. Each student athlete must WORK to land these opportunities. Within the Classroom section of this community, we will build out step-by-step plans, to help athletes land these partnerships.

What is NIL?
NIL stands for Name, Image, and Likeness. It refers specifically to the rights of student-athletes to benefit financially from the use of their own NIL in ways permitted by a combination of federal and state regulations and the NCAA Interim NIL Policy and its bylaws. In practical terms, NIL allows student-athletes to participate in opportunities like endorsement deals, sponsorships, social media collaborations, autograph events, and other commercial activities. This enables them to generate income from their popularity while remaining active college athletes. Below is a link to my classroom where we spend more time outlining the details of Name, Image and Likeness https://www.skool.com/nil-1042/classroom/99714208?md=54e5fdf6d44b4b7e97b30a814886f145
