Did you know? AI can now tell the type and quality of fish cuts!
With an AI called "Tuna Scope," we can check the freshness and quality of fish at stores or restaurants. This makes it easier to choose fresh fish and helps with quality control. Thanks to this technology, fresh, high-quality fish can be provided to everyone. Pretty amazing, right?

School meals (Kyushoku きゅうしょく) in Japan 2🍱
Everyone Eats the Same Meal? Yes, at my elementary school. 😋 Students and teachers ate the same lunch. Meals were planned to be healthy, nutritious, and yummy, with rice, bread, soup, vegetables, fish, or meat. Side note: I used to take a brown envelope home each month. My parents put the meal money in the envelope, and then I gave it to my teacher at school. My teacher stamped "received with date" as a receipt on the brown envelope.

School meals (Kyushoku きゅうしょく) in Japan 1🍱
At my public elementary and junior high school, we had school meals every day! (except weekends) (Side note: some junior high schools didn’t offer school meals… 😅) Each meal (lunch) was prepared fresh in the school’s kitchen. Here’s the scoop on how our school meals worked and what they were like: Students Help Serve: Kids help set up and serve lunch in their classroom. We took turns, so everyone got a chance to help. It was like teamwork at lunch! Fridays were my favorite! We’d often have curry rice with a dessert like orange jello. 🍛🍊 Did you have it when you are in elementary school or junior high (middle school)?
