What architecture to follow for Data Analysis in Fabric?
I have started working on Fabric and basically my need is to build BI reports/dashboards. Until fabric was available was using Power BI connecting to data sources and building the reports. Did not have a Data warehouse as of now as we stared using Power BI also 3 month ago. Instead of having an on-prem DW was considering to setup everything in Fabric. So this is where i am.
I am considering to understand what my fundamental architecture should be with current needs and upcoming needs in future. We don't have on-prem data sources from where i need to get data and build reports that i have on my way. Basically majority of my reports will be single or multiple data sources like
1) AS400/ SQL/Excel files/Oracle DB
2) Information from online web portal from where data can be exported to excel or can connect the portals/ Cloud application like Jira cloud/ Cloud HRMS solutions.
SO for the above Power BI report needs what is the appropriate architecture i should consider.
I do not have Python expertise but have team that can help but good T-SQL exposure.
Mainly i want to know how my architecture should be built so my current needs and future needs can be taken care without major changes.
I have read about Medallion Architecture but not sure how i should define considering above needs
