Here's an interesting article by Denise Schlesinger (Microsoft) - especially for those working with real-time data!
She explains how the medallion architecture can be applied to real-time data using the Eventhouse (KQL Database).
I love that the Eventhouse has materialized views - which she makes use of in the Gold layer.
