Just came back from Rapid + TCT which is an expo in LA about 3D Printing.
Here are some 4 key takeaways I learned after visiting an expo like this.
- 3D Printing is WAY bigger than you think, its not just what you see online and or on social media
The 3D Printing space like Bambu and Prusa only make up a small fraction of ACTUAL 3D printing manufacturing.
2. Big companies HEAVILY rely on 3D Printing to bring their products to life
Companies are heavily investing into 3D Scanners and CAD technology for their workforce and they NEED people who know how to use these things. Learn those skills - especially if this is your career.
3. New Bambu Products on the way, spoke with a REP at Bambu labs and he states "we should expect a new larger printer by this year as its already 50% of the way into production." (fingers crossed)
Also new after market parts for these printers for the X1C, X1, A1, A1 Mini, P1, P1S are also dropping next month.
4. There are some interesting Filament brands that I never heard of Kexce and Kimya or two of those brands. Interested in buying those filaments and see the difference.
Did any of you attend?
