Three Concerns Facing Us
Here are three pressing concerns people face today and potential solutions: 1. Rising Cost of Living People are feeling the strain of inflation on essentials like housing, groceries, and utilities. Solution: Budgeting effectively, seeking financial advice, and exploring ways to increase income (like freelance work or side jobs) can help. Advocating for policies that address affordable housing. 2. Mental Health and Stress Modern life brings high levels of stress, affecting mental well-being across all age groups. Solution: Practicing self-care, setting boundaries on technology use, and seeking support through therapy or counseling can be beneficial. Communities can help by creating resources and promoting wellness programs. 3. Climate Change and Environmental Impact Environmental concerns, from extreme weather to pollution, are increasingly urgent. Solution: Individuals can adopt eco-friendly habits like reducing waste and conserving energy, while supporting companies and policies focused on sustainability. Collective action on renewable energy and conservation efforts is also key to long-term environmental health.

Steps to get started. Here are some ideas to kickstart your journey: - Identify your niche: Not only your skills but who do you want to work with. - Find your audience: Skool is a great place to start engaging with others. - Learn who could benefit from what you know. Also learn how to work with many personalities. - Building connections here might open doors to new projects and collaborations. Package your knowledge: your expertise is valuable! Create a small online course. Blog every week. Monthly workshops. Get creative with how you share it. Let's get a conversation started. For those who’ve started this journey, what’s one lesson you’ve learned? Advice from experienced only a short way ahead is invaluable for others starting out. It's hard I know but try to remember when you were in school. Who did you want advice from? The honor roll student. Heck no! Your locker partner because he could explain what you needed to know in dead simple ways. Alright let's share a bit of knowledge. Thanks.

Wait! It's Not Retirement
It's “Personal Enterprise” Keep working for the Man or start “You Inc.” Your own personal enterprise, the new way to approach making a living. It isn’t about a job, but how to think like an entrepreneur. Will you be comfortable to work when you need to? When you want to? Where you want to? Experts like Hemant Taneja, in his book Unscaled predicts: ~ just-in-time gigs ~contract work ~projects and ~side hustles Are the way to create You Inc. Taneja expects the burden of Human Resources paperwork will help make You Inc. very attractive to the corporate bean counters. Don’t try to fit your skills into a resume you send out everywhere. Focus on what problems you have solved in your own job. You aren’t the only one that has to deal with it. Focus on how to show up in front of someone in need of your solution or work around. Here comes a big change. New skills will be needed. First learn where your ideal prospect hangs out. Second learn their jargon. Third figure out the answer to, if only I could fix “X” Fourth Zoom in on that ideal client. Only that ideal client. Wait! I hear you. You’re just starting out and you will work for anyone that will pay you. Realize you sound like every other gig seeker on the net. Do you want that? You want your ideal client pulled to you like a Magnetic pulls iron fillings. After years with a steady job, you might feel lost. But it’s a chance to shake up the old routine. Create a setup that pays the bills. Gives you time for things like exercise, meditation, and a hobby or two. To run your life as a personal enterprise... Add another “gig” to keep things rolling. No boss required.
