II Waging war!
Laying plans
Favorite point: 26- “Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes few calculations beforehand. … It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to win or lose”. Many successful people would agree with this quote. I can’t say how many times I’ve seen successful people mention that you need to work hard and smart to succeed. It really shows that this ideology was around for a long time and has held true in many points of life. Another thing I want to point out is the fact that battle was mentioned and not war. Every step of the way for whatever you want to accomplish is a battle for a larger war. You can win or lose a battle in you conquest to achieve something, but what about the next battle and the next battle. Each step of the way is a battle That requires as much or even more calculation and determination to succeed!
